A Surrendered Mindset
From the trail of tears, one sheds when in the middle of an emotional storm, seeds of purpose can grow. What are your tears watering? A garden of opportunity, purpose, and promise?
What are you believing God for, trusting God for? Do you believe God is who He says He is?
Then believe for your breakthrough, believe for your healing, believe for your conception? Believe the season of drought (famine) is over and the rain has begun.
What brought Hannah the answer to prayer? Was it her persistence in prayer? Her posture of surrender? Her putting Kingdom above self? Was it when she was very specific to God about what she wanted and why?
Where and when was the breakthrough? Was the breakthrough external (in Hannah’s situation) or personally from within (internal)?
When the emotional storm quiets, one can see and hear clearly, spiritually, and discern God’s true will, Kingdom intent, and plan for their life. Speak to that emotional storm in your life and command it to be still.
Breakthrough is in you, it is a mindset, Kingdom over world, abundance over lack, victory over defeat, obedience over self, and surrender versus resistance. An internal transformation, spiritual circumcision, where one realizes they deserve more, have been equipped for more, built for more through their lived experiences, and finally realize, if God is all I got, He is more than enough.
When the internal struggle for control ends, the place of surrender begins, and becomes the birthing room of promise. The seeds of conception maturing and giving birth to one’s identity. A spiritual release where one adopts a Kingdom mindset, begins to pray in alignment with God’s will, and they finally inherit and walk in all the promises God has spoken over their life. Slowly, becoming, the embodiment of Christ, for a world to see.
The only question is whether you will truly let go, let God, and choose the Kingdom mentality over a victim mentality?

About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about
Welcome to today's teaching and message. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist of the Reflective Spaces Ministry podcast and team. I am the founder of Reflective Spaces Ministry, and I want to thank you for watching and for tuning in and for coming on with us today. I wasn't expecting to go live, but of course, the Holy Spirit had other plans. So here I am, and I'm quite cozy and comfortable. We're in southwest Florida, and it is a little chilly. And I do feel for all of you guys that are up north or in other countries where it is extremely cold. So Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you, Lord Jesus, and see you and not me. And may they glean from your knowledge. May they have spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see. And may that any blinders be removed so that they can break forth and break into who you've called them to be. Remove any hindrances, O God, anything that would keep them or distract them from hearing this word and from this word penetrating bone and marrow and bringing about that everlasting change, O God, that everlasting change that only comes from you, that only comes from you. by way of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ that lives within us. I thank you. I thank you. I praise you, Father. I thank you, Lord Jesus, for the work you did on the cross and for everything that you do for us. I'm so grateful. But I'm so grateful that you gave your life so that we could be set free. And I thank you, Holy Spirit, that you're with me now, guiding me and strengthening all those that are listening. because this is a difficult teaching. Oh, Holy Spirit, help me to deliver it with the heart and the intent that it was given to me. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare all things. Amen. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. I feel you there with me right now. So the title of this message, and I did a blog post yesterday, I believe, or the day before, on this place of surrender. And And I did an episode on Reflective Hour, just a mini episode teaching yesterday about surrendered trust. And so today it's surrendered mindset. It's a surrendered mindset. And when you surrender your mind, you find peace through your faith. when you surrender your mind, when you break out of old mindsets and break into a kingdom mindset and truly approach this from a place of surrender, then you can be set free and find peace where there's been turmoil and torment. And I'm telling you, I'm living proof as I was set free, from the aftermath of child sex trafficking and childhood trauma, coping through various addictions. And it's truly through my faith that I have become and have the courage to even go live and be with you and bring about this word. I don't do any of this in my own power or strength. I would be shaking, but I just turn it over and surrender it to the Holy Spirit. No, He's always with me. He's my helper. And that's why Jesus left us and ascended to heaven is so that He could send the helper, the promise, the Holy Spirit to us. And so we're going to dive in and I'm just going to read a little bit of my notes to you because I want to make sure that I read this first opening with the way it was given to me by way of the Holy Spirit. And it was given to me like this, the opening to a surrendered mindset. And when you go ahead and grab your Bibles, because we're going to be going to first Samuel one and first Samuel two, and we're going to be going to Luke one, forty six to fifty five. We're going to be looking at Hannah in the Bible and the story of Hannah. And I'll apologize now if I mispronounce some of the names. I never said that I was a biblical scholar. I said that I'm someone that was just totally transformed by the Holy Spirit. One of those Jesus followers on fire for the Lord, but mainly a woman who was walking in death and Christ gave me life. And I just want you to experience that. I don't want any of you to go through another day of torture, another day of torment, another day without sleep, another day with shame, another day with a fear, regret, self-loathing. I never want you to suffer one more day because you do not have to. Jesus died so we could have abundant life and be set free. And that's for us now here on earth. Because we get to have on earth what's in heaven. Because you remember the Lord's prayer. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Powerful. From the trail of tears one sheds when in the middle of an emotional storm, seeds of purpose can grow. What are your tears watering? A garden of opportunity? A garden of purpose and promise? What are you believing God for? Trusting God for? Do you believe God is who he says he is? Then believe for your breakthrough, believe for your healing, believe for your conception. Believe the season of drought or famine is over and the rain has begun. What brought Hannah the answer to her prayer? Was it her persistence in prayer? Her posture of surrender? Her putting kingdom above self? Was it when she was very specific to God about what she wanted and why? Where and when was the breakthrough? Was the breakthrough external in Hannah's situation? Or was it truly personal from within, an internal struggle? When the emotional storm quiets, one can see and hear clearly, spiritually, and discern God's true will, kingdom intent and plan for their life. So speak to that emotional storm in your life and command it to be still. And I speak to it now. And command worry to go, fear to go, anxiety to go, depression to go. in the name of Jesus. Breakthrough is in you. It is a mindset, kingdom over world, abundance over lack, victory over defeat, obedience over self, and surrender versus resistance. An internal transformation or a spiritual circumcision, a heart change, where one realizes they deserve more, have been equipped for more, built for more, gone through all those things and lived through so much because there's more. And finally realize that God has a purpose for your life. He knew you before He formed you and knitted you in your mother's womb. And if God's all you got, god's enough when the internal struggle for control ends the place of surrender begins and becomes the birthing room of promise the seeds of conception maturing and giving birth to one's identity a spiritual release where one adopts a kingdom mindset begins to pray in alignment with god's will and they finally inherit and walk in all the promises god has spoken over their life slowly becoming the embodiment of Christ for the world to see. The only question is whether you will truly let go and let God and choose the kingdom mentality, the kingdom mindset over the victim mentality and the victim mindset. And that's the question that we will explore today. And I will tell you personally, the only way that I could become was to truly die to self and surrender. and realize I never had control. I never had control over what was done to me. I never had control over my mother turning a blind eye to what was happening. I never had control over people's responses, outcomes. I never could control whether someone loved me or not, accepted me or not. And it was only through Christ and His love and the blood shed on Calvary that I became strong enough to surrender to His will for my life instead of my own. And that's truly when you become, is when you realize that nothing matters but doing God's will. When you put the kingdom first, make your prayers about others, about what's good for the whole body of believers, a unified approach. as opposed to just one and the God of self, even a little with a little G. When we let go of that, when we refuse to let the world define us and we say, no matter what, we're going to follow God. Even if we have to go into a fiery furnace, like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. And even if we perish, we perish. But I know my God will deliver me. I know. I know He will. And I'm speaking to you personally. He has delivered me from so much. Miracle upon miracle upon miracle. Him delivering me from the weight of trauma, from the icky, the shame, the guilt, the fear, the regret, the self-loathing, all of it. Him delivering me from that torment every day in my mind was the greatest gift he could ever give me. And that was done because Jesus, by his stripes, you were healed because of what he did on the cross and endured on the cross. It's because of that work that we live and have our being. And that's enough for me. if he had never done anything else. But he's done so much. He's done so much for me personally. Miracle upon miracle upon miracle. He just blows me away. I love being in a relationship with Abba Father, with Father. I love being in a relationship. I love walking with him on our ranch in the gardens. in the pasture. I love sitting with him in the mornings in my ministry office. I love turning to him every minute, praying, praying in the spirit, praying without ceasing, drawing so close to God that I don't know where I end and he begins. And then I realize it doesn't matter because we're all one and I'm one with him and he's one with me. And that's the posture I choose to take. As I step out and embark on healing others, on the Healing is Your Portion Tour for twenty twenty six. As I step out into who he's called me to be, I have to draw strength from him and from his word. And that's the only thing that keeps me going. So let's now get into First Samuel, First Samuel one and First Samuel two. And I'll be reading out of the ESV. And before I begin this, he took me to a book that was on my shelf. I don't know if it was donated to us or what. I can't remember. And it's a study guide by Sherry Harney, Twelve Women of the Bible, Life-Changing Stories for Women Today. And it's based on a teaching from Liza Turkhurst. And I'm going to turn to page, uh, fifty-five, the story of Hannah, um, And actually, page forty nine is kind of where where the story of Hannah starts and goes to about sixty in this book. But what stuck out to me was when I read. We often spend our time and energy focusing on there and miss what God is doing here. What helps you focus more fully on the here and now and keeps you from living too much in the then and there? That's powerful, isn't it? Let me read that one more time. And I want you to write it down and journal it. the answer to that after the study, what it brings to you, the thought process. We can often spend our time and energy focusing on there and miss what God is doing here. What helps you focus more fully on the here and now and keeps you from living too much in the then and there? I say it all the time and everybody will tell you that I say it. You can't have one foot in the past and be fully present in today. It takes two feet to be in today and one to step forward towards tomorrow. You've got to get that foot out of the past and step into all God has called you to be this season. Fully present in the moment. Fully, fully present. Surrendering your mind, breaking out of that old mindset. And finally finding peace through faith. Because it is our portion. Healing is our portion. And do check out the trilogy that I just published on divine healing. There's a series. You can buy it on Amazon and Kindle. Thank you for being here and knowing that the Holy Spirit is with you wherever you are. There's no separation in the Spirit. And he's touching you right now in that place of infirmary. And he's healing you now by the power and blood of Jesus Christ shed on Calvary. So now let's dive in. First Samuel, again, reading out of the ESV. There was a certain man of Ramatham Zophon of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuth and Ephrathite. He had two wives. The name of one was Hannah and the name of the other was Peniah. And Peniah had children, but Hannah had no children. Now, this man used to go up year by year from the city to worship and to sacrifice to the Lord of hosts at Shiloh, where the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were priests of the Lord. On the day when Elkanah sacrificed, he would give portions to Peninnah, his wife, and to all her sons and daughters. But to Hannah, he gave a double portion because he loved her through the Lord. though the Lord had closed her womb. And I want you to catch that. The Lord had closed her womb. It clearly says that. And her rival used to provoke her grievously to irritate her because the Lord had closed her womb. So it went on year by year. As often as she went up to the house of the Lord, she used to provoke her. Man, how many of you are being ridiculed and provoked by others? People reminding you of what you don't have, maybe reminding you that you haven't conceived, that you're struggling with infertility, that you're single, that you're alone. How many of you are reminding you of lack or speaking curses over you, saying you'll never amount to anything? How many of you have had that lie spoken over you? Well, I break that off now in the power of Jesus, because he knew you before you were formed in the womb. And you're fearfully and beautifully, wonderfully made beautiful sons and daughters of the Most High King. So let's not focus on what people say or have said about you. Let's focus on God's truth about who you are and root your identity into that kingdom mindset. that He's given us. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Therefore, Hannah wept and would not eat. Boy, that speaks of depression. How many of you are depressed, low in spirit? How many of you are struggling, fighting, fighting through each day to break out of that mindset of the past, that old mindset of lack and poverty, maybe struggling to break through and break free of addiction. How many of you are struggling with something? How many of you are just struggling to believe God, to continue to just stay in faith and fight that good fight of faith? It's okay to be honest. All you have to do is look at the Bible, look in the Psalms and see how many people were calling out to God and in their darkest moments. That's why we need God's spoken word. And we need, you know, the rhema words that that he gives us by way of the Holy Spirit. And as we open his his word and he speaks to us through his word. And Jesus came to reveal God to us and he was the living word. Let's keep going. And Elk and I, her husband said to her, Hannah, why do you weep? And why do you not eat? And why is your heart sad? Am I not more to you than ten sons? How many of you have had people at your darkest moments say, well, you've got so much already. You, you, you know, that person's out there for you. I know how hard that is. I know how hard it is to want something, to want a relationship, to want to be free of those addictions, to want to be whole, but yet still find yourself in that miserable pit of darkness, fighting your way through. After they had eaten and drunk in Shiloh, Hannah rose. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat beside the doorpost of the temple of the Lord. She was deeply distressed and prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly. Hannah was deeply distressed, basically, and prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly. So she poured out her soul to God. I mean, she had an encounter with God. She was pouring out her soul. How many of you have been on the floor crying, all laid out prostrate, just praying to God? How many of you have been calling out to God? Remember those prayers of a righteous man, those fervent prayers availeth much. And she vowed a vow and said, Oh, Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life and no razor shall touch his head. And no razor shall touch his head. So she had a moment where she was deeply distressed and she prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly. I'm telling you that she was at a place of surrender. I know I've been there begging God, God, I can't do it one more day. I can't experience this one more day. This awful feeling, this heaviness, this not sleeping, this, this weight that was on me. And I knew that I was one way before. Trauma came to my door and darkness and abuse. And then something happened and I took on all that heaviness, those things that were not my fault. Those are the things that I was never supposed to carry as a child, but I was forced to carry. And she vowed a vow and said, she spoke to God through her heart. heart to heart, a spiritual transfer to where she surrendered in her heart posture and could truly, truly, truly, truly let go and let God. And she could hear clearly how to pray for her promise to be fulfilled. She came into alignment with God's will with her kingdom purpose, recognizing that there was more. It wasn't just about her. It wasn't just about her conceiving so she wouldn't be made fun of anymore or chastised or in those days looked down upon or an outcast if you were barren. She had an internal transfer to where all that mattered Well, she prayed in line with God's will. Like in the Garden of Gethsemane, the olive press of affliction that Jesus went through. Where he prayed in line with God's will. Nevertheless, your will be done. And I would say that's what Hannah was praying with her heart. When she could hear and she spoke it. And she made a vow and said, O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son. She even prayed a specific prayer asking for a son. Then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life and no razor shall touch his head. And no razor shall touch his head. I mean, how did she know to pray that? She knew because I'm telling you she had help like we have help today when we get alone and we just sit and wait. God meets us and the Holy Spirit intercedes and helps us pray and helps us pray. As she continued praying before the Lord, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was speaking in her heart. Only her lips moved and her voice was not heard. therefore eli took her to be a drunken woman and eli said to her how long will you go on being drunk put your wine away from you but hannah answered no my lord i'm a woman troubled in spirit how many of you been a woman troubled in spirit or a man troubled in spirit calling out to god i have drunk neither wine nor strong drink but i've been pouring out my soul before the lord Do not regard your servant as a worthless woman. For all along, I've been speaking out of my great anxiety and vexation. I mean, she was speaking from such a place of woundedness and she just couldn't take it one more second. And I believe she finally let go and let God. And that's why she got her prayer answered because she was finally praying in line with God's will. for Samuel to be born and given to God to be used for the kingdom. Then Eli answered, go in peace and the God of Israel grant your petition that you have made to him and She said, let your servant find favor in your eyes. Then the woman went away and ate and her face was no longer sad. Wow. They rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord. When they went back to their house at Ramah and Elkanah knew Hannah, his wife, and the Lord remembered her. And in due time, Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, I've asked for him from the Lord. Wow. She had asked of him from the Lord. And she felt such a, she had such a heartfelt prayer that I'm telling you had to be led by the spirit, had to be led by the spirit. And that's when you, in that moment of surrender, when you are able to listen and truly hear God's voice over the whisper of the, or the louder voice of the enemy, over the world's voices, when you finally can hear God and know his will for your life, then you know how to pray in line with God's will. He's a good father. He's not going to give you things that are going to destroy you or that are going to take you outside your kingdom purpose. And I tell you what, I know that I pray every day, almost every day and say, God, keep me, protect me from me. Keep me from self-sabotaging myself. Keep me from saying yes to something that you don't want me to say yes to. Help me to always do your will, God. Not my will, but yours be done. And I'm telling you, you got to pray without ceasing. You got to pray all the time. Let's see if we keep going. The man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the Lord the yearly sacrifice and to pay his vow. But Hannah did not go up for she said to her husband, as soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him so that he may appear in the presence of the Lord and dwell there forever. Elkanah, her husband said to her, do what seems best to you. Wait until you have weaned him. Only may the Lord establish his word. So the woman remained and nursed her son until she weaned him. And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her along with a three-year-old bull, an FF of flour and a skin of wine. And she brought him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh. And the child was young. Then they slaughtered the bull and they brought the child to Eli. And she said, Oh my Lord, as you live, my Lord, I am the woman who was standing here in your presence. in your presence, praying to the Lord. See that she was standing here in your presence, praying to the Lord. She was there in the presence and the Holy Spirit I know was helping her know how to pray. So much so that Eli thought she was drunk. And remember on the day of Pentecost, they thought that they were drunk. They were drunk on the Holy Spirit with a Spirit-led prayer. Man, how many of you have been so caught up with the Spirit and just in that place of, oh, just bliss with the Holy Spirit? Or you're floating like you're in heaven, such a special place. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore, I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord. And he worshiped the Lord there. How many of you lend yourselves to the Lord? How many of you say every day, not my will, but yours be done, O God. Direct my steps today, O God. How many of you lend yourselves to the Lord to be truly used for the kingdom of God? And then in first Samuel two, we see Hannah's prayer. And Hannah prayed and said, my heart exalts in the Lord. My horn is exalted in the Lord. My mouth derides my enemies because I rejoice in your salvation. There is none holy like the Lord, for there is none beside you. There is no rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly. Let not arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble bind on strength. those who were full have hired themselves out for bread but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger the baron has born seven but she who has been many child children is forlorn the lord kills and brings to life the lord i'm sorry he brings down to shoal and raises up the lord makes poor and makes rich he brings low and he exalts He raises up the poor from the dust. He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and on them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his faithful ones, but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness. For not by might shall a man prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces. Against them he will thunder in heaven. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed. And Elkanah went home to Ramah, and the boy was ministering to the Lord in the presence of Eli the priest. And we know that Hannah went on to bear many children. And she went on to have six children. And she gave, of course, the first one, Samuel, to the Lord. So she gave her first fruit to the Lord. How many of you during twenty one days of prayer gave your first fruits to the Lord? How many of you did that? I mean, she realized everything comes from God. And if you put God first. and pray in alignment with his will, all else shall be given unto you. And she recognized that. And she came to a place of inner surrender to where she let go and she let God. And that's the place that we all need to get to so that we can step out and become all that God has for us. We must get to that place. And It just was talking about a little bit in the commentary here about the years of provocation from Penina. And, you know, basically her continuing to remind Hannah of what she didn't have. continuing to be that voice that would put her down instead of raising her up. How many of you are speaking words that are putting others down instead of raising them up? We're called to edify as a body of believers. We're called to build up, to be construction sites and not demolition sites. Our words have power. So speak life over others and over yourself. over yourself and over yourself so she went on to um bear six children and then the virgin mary echoes hannah's prayer in luke one forty six to fifty five which honors god and teaches us humility before our creator and redeemer we should do the same that is a posture that we should adopt is that uh place of humility of letting go nevertheless not my will be done but yours oh god and um when i just wanted to look at uh first samuel one out of the complete jewish bible Where it says here, in deep depression, she prayed to Adonai and cried. And then another time, she prayed for a long time before Adonai. And as she did so, Eli was watching her mouth. Hannah was speaking in her heart, in her heart. It was an internal transformation that occurred to where she could pray out of her heart. And remember, out of the heart flows rivers of living water. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Everywhere we keep saying, see that she prayed. She prayed fervently. She prayed, she prayed, she prayed. And you know what? She prayed until she got the answer. She prayed until she got the breakthrough. So she persisted in prayer. She persisted in prayer. And actually, he just pointed it out to me. I remember, let's see where it was. It talked about, let me go back. I believe it was in this version. Okay, here it is. yes, in the complete Jewish Bible. Don't think of your servant as a worthless woman because I have been speaking from the depth of my distress and anger. So she was honest. I mean, she was angry. And there's times that we can be angry at God and we can say, God, how long or why have you kept me in this situation? Why did you not deliver me? I mean, I used to sit huddled in the bathroom and pray to God to remove me And from the situation to where I was being horribly victimized and being used as a child sex slave, but yet I didn't get delivered. So there were times I was angry and I was upset, but I remember and I knew God was with me. My mom had a choice. She didn't choose to leave that person. We all have choices. What choices are we making? And are we praying in alignment with God's will? Are we partnering up with things that we don't need to be partnering up with? God didn't fail me. My mother did. But my mother parented me through a place of woundedness and brokenness out of survival mode because she never, ever dealt with her own childhood trauma. Never. She never dealt with it. And many people are parenting now in survival mode, are with trauma responses, and they've never disclosed what happened to them as children. And they've never ever sought help for it or opened up those wounds to the light and truth of the gospel so the blood of Jesus can cover it and heal it and set them free. Eli replied, go in peace. So he says, go in peace. Peace is our portion. May the God of Israel grant what you have asked of him. She replied, may your servant find favor in sight. So the woman went on her way and she ate and her face was no longer sad. You see that? I want you to catch that. She ate and her face was no longer sad. She believed. the statement, the prayer, the pouring out of her soul in that moment where she met God and he met her in the presence where she said the powerful, you know, the presence was there when she had truly an encounter with God and he met her in her infirmary and she prayed in alignment with his will because she was listening to the heart and listening to the spirit and was able to pray in line with God's will. She had a breakthrough. She was able to eat. She was no longer depressed. And she was no longer sad. Her entire countenance changed. One moment in God's presence can change everything. I'm living proof. And that's what I wanted to make sure. Thank you, Holy Spirit, that I didn't leave out. Now let's go to Luke. Luke. We're going to go to Luke. Look at my notes. One, forty six to fifty five. And I've got the complete Jewish Bible. Forty six to fifty five. And this is where Mary's praying. Let me start up just a little bit before that. But who am I that the mother of my Lord should come to me for as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leap for joy. Indeed, you are blessed because you have trusted that the promise Adonai has made to you will be fulfilled. See that? You trusted the promise. You had faith that what was revealed to you was going to happen. Hannah knew she was going to conceive. She knew it. Just like I know every promise God spoke over my life will be fulfilled. It's already been fulfilled. I just need to carry it out and walk in it. I just have to call it forth from the spirit realm, believing it, that it's here through faith. And I believe it. And I know it. And everything he spoke to me, I know is coming true. Because that's the faith I have. I trust God. Then Miriam said, my soul magnifies Adonai and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior. So remember now, this is Mary. She's praying and going to Hannah's prayer. My soul magnifies Adonai and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior, who has taken notice of his servant girl in her humble position. For imagine it, from now on, all generations will call me blessed. The mighty one has done great things for me. Indeed, his name is holy. And in every generation, he has mercy on those who fear him, on those who fear him. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm routed the secretly proud, brought down rulers from their thrones, raised up the humble, filled the hungry with good things, but sent the rich away empty. He has taken the part of his servant Israel, mindful of the mercy which he promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his seed forever. Wow. To his seed forever. God is faithful. To keep his promises. But we just have to change the way we look at things. We have to change our mindset. The moment I had a breakthrough in my life. Oh, I thank you all those. I see everybody watching from Uganda. Amen to you too. And from all over the world. See you. God bless you and keep you. We... I had a moment of breakthrough when I refused to let trauma define me and what happened to me. And I knew that I was worthy of more and I started believing Now that transformation took a while, took a while, but I started to believe it. And at the moment I started to realize I am not the things they said about me. I am not who they said I was. They don't define me. I am who God says I am. And I have value and I have worth and I know it and I have a purpose. And the moment I started to believe it over the lies of the enemy, over the lies of the past, over those negative words spoken over me as a child and growing up, when I refused to partner with the lies, instead choosing the kingdom mindset, then I had a major internal breakthrough and I would not tolerate anything that would destroy my peace, that didn't have God as the front and center. And I would not be yoked up with anything that wasn't God's best for me because I knew I deserved more and I was going to fight the good fight of faith until I saw the fulfillment of the promise. So through years and years and years of internal work, the potter shaping me, the clay, letting go of things that no longer served me, being moldable, staying humble, then I've continued to grow and grow and grow and continue to be delivered from many layers of trauma. And that's possible for you and for all those that are listening, because I'm no different. I sinned. I made mistakes. I hurt people. But God chose to send his son, Lord Jesus Christ, to die so I could live. And if you don't know Jesus, I want you to know that Jesus. And I want you to say, I've missed it, God. I've messed up. I've messed up, God. I tried to go my own way, do things my own way, make myself my own little God. but no more. Today, I surrender all to you, Lord Jesus. I know you died on the cross. I know you rose again. I know that you're seated in heavenly places, that your Holy Spirit came to dwell within us. With this prayer, I want you to be Lord and Savior of my life. I repent of all my sins. I want you to wash me clean. I know you've forgiven me. And I wanted to repent and turn towards you, Lord Jesus. I want you to come into my heart and live there forever and make me fresh and new and give me a new heart and a new mind in Christ Jesus. And with this prayer, I believe I've been saved. I'm a child of God, an heir to the promise. And I also believe through faith that I've received the Holy Spirit and he's with me now. So believe it and receive it and walk in it. And those of you who've prayed that prayer, don't hesitate to reach out to us at info at reflectivespacesministry.com so we can send you out literature. And welcome to the family of believers. Remember, there's no such thing as racism in the kingdom of God. There's only people groups. If you read Genesis, The books one through eleven, we all came from Adam and Eve. And Adam came from God. There's no racism. There's no races. There's only people groups. And we're one together in Christ. So you're my brother or you're my sister. and we're all one and we're all equal. And we must remember that as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. And never turn a blind eye to racist agenda. There's no place for that, for racism in the kingdom of God. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. And I thank you. I thank you to all those who are watching.
