About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about
Welcome to the Reflective Spaces Ministry podcast and teaching. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist and your host. I'm so grateful that you could be here with us this morning and come and learn alongside of us and glean from our field. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you and not me, see you and not me. May the word of truth speak to their heart and transform them layer by layer, shifting their focus off the cares of this world and onto the work done on the cross, knowing that healing is their portion Freedom is their portion. Abundance is their portion. Strength is their portion. Joy is their portion. Peace, abundant life, that's their portion. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray and declare all things. Amen. Today's episode is is called clocking in for Jesus. Clocking in for Jesus. How many of you are lost, broken, in need of repair, in need of a miracle? It's like passing you by. Do you set out each day to accomplish your will or God's will for your life? Who's in control of your time clock, your employer or God? Do you trust God will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus? Do you know the truth that the truth shall set you free? Do you know that God will never leave you nor forsake you? Do you know these truths? Let's let scripture guide us and reveal a greater understanding of who Jesus is and why his work on the cross settled all arguments. It is finished. Sickness is finished. Disease is finished. Poverty is finished. Those things are not our portion. What's our job as believers? Are we to walk according to man? Are we to walk according to God and a healthy fear of the Lord? Who sets our agenda for the day? Does God or does man? Who's in control of your life? Are you being obedient to the call God's placed on your life? Or do you have excuses when he calls you to do something? Because you don't believe you're worthy enough to step into all he's called you to be. Are you being distracted? Pulled away from the place where he's called you to? the territory that he's called you to to take for the kingdom of God? What is your purpose? What is your call? Do you fear the Lord? Those are questions that we're going to answer today. or bring fresh revelation to an area in your life that needs it. Because maybe you tuned in because you need a confirming word from God that you're on the right path. Maybe that's you. Maybe that's you. Maybe you need confirmation that God has called you to that area of ministry. Maybe you need confirmation that you have been healed, that you are not sick, that you don't have cancer, that it has left your body because Christ died on the cross to set you free from the curse of the law. You're a believer, an heir to the promise, and healing is your portion. By His stripes ye were healed. It's past tense. The work's already been done. All you need to do is claim that promise and believe in and walk in it and walk in victory. Victory is ours as believers in Christ. We need to walk into areas and take that territory for the kingdom of God and speak life over ourselves and not curses. We have all the power. We have all the authority. We just need to yield our sword of truth, break apart the lies of the enemy cut through that web of deception, stop drifting, and be planted on a firm foundation in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. So let's look to scripture to guide us today as we remember that we are clocking in for Jesus. And there's never been a time in history to where the miracle working power, the freedom that being in Christ brings has been needed. We need to draw from the wellspring of living water and the truth and be anchored in peace and joy with no fear of man since we are surrounded by darkness and we are the overcomers, we are the light, we are the testimony of truth. So we must all be clocked in for Jesus in this hour, walking in our kingdom purpose aligned so strategically, using our gifts that we have in full measure never being limited based on our surroundings, but being allowed to walk in the fullness and the authority and the power of the kingdom of God that's in us, working through us to transform a nation and a world, starting with our area first, our community, One house at a time. One house meeting at a time. One healing meeting at a time. Now's the time for miracles. Now's the time to clock in for Jesus and clock out for the world and the world systems. Let's follow this where God's taking it. I'm going to be reading some passages of scripture. I'm going to start with Mark nine. And I'm going to be reading Mark nine, two to seven and thirty to thirty two. And I'm reading out of the complete Jewish Bible. And actually, when I look at Mark nine. I'm going to read like little snippets of it. Yes, he went on. I tell you that there are some people standing here who will not experience death until they see the kingdom of God come in a powerful way. Six days later, Yeshua took Kepha, Jacob, and Yochanan and led them up a high mountain privately. As they watched, He began to change form and his clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could possibly bleach them. Then they saw Elihu and Moses speaking with Yeshua. Peter said to Jesus, it's good that we're here, Rabbi. Let's put up three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. He didn't know what to say. They were so frightened. Then a cloud developed them. enveloped them and a voice came out of the cloud. This is my son whom I love. Listen to him. Now I want to go back and I don't want you to lose this part. Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up a high mountain. So they were led by Jesus. They allowed themselves to to surrender, coming under Jesus, following Jesus, following him. And then we go down and where we see it, see where I read that he didn't know what to say. They were so frightened. They had the fear of the Lord. I mean, the glory was there and they were overcome, but that was a healthy fear, good fear. And one moment in the presence of the Lord, when you recognize his sovereignty, when you just know that there's a whole world out there other than this one, heaven is real. When you come to that realization, you do have a fear, a healthy fear of God. You want to follow him. You want to obey him. The God that parted the Red Sea. The God that speaks, that spoke the world into creation. That God. And I want to skip down to where it says, but if you can do anything, have pity on us and help us. Jesus said to him, what do you mean if you can't? Everything is possible to someone who has trust or someone who has faith. We skip over to thirty. After leaving that place, they went on through the Galilee. Jesus didn't want anyone to know because he was teaching his followers, his disciples. He told them the son of man will be betrayed into the hands of men who will put him to death. But after he has been killed three days later, he will rise. But they didn't understand what he meant. And they were afraid to ask him. They were afraid to ask them. They got over into their feelings and they had fear. They got over into their flesh. We go down a little bit further and then we see that they have been arguing with each other about who was the greatest. Again, they got over into their flesh. We have to be led by Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, not led by emotions. not letting fear, perfect love casts out all fear, that unhealthy fear, we're to have the healthy fear of the Lord, following his commands, coming under his sovereignty, advancing the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, clocking in for Jesus, allowing our timing on earth to be set by our Lord and savior. We must follow the king. We must obey. We must obey and look at everything through a place of eternity instead of the limitation of this time that we find ourselves in here on earth. And so that's what I wanted you to see that there was a focus on being led, a focus on listening. Because what did God say? This is my son whom I love. Listen to him. Obey him. Listen to him. We get into trouble when we start to drift. We get comfortable. You know, when you're drifting along one of those lazy rivers and a raft and you're just so comfortable and you're just drifting and drifting. Well, that's even they have borders and they're controlled. But you don't want to ever drift out, say, in a dinghy off the coastline. You'll get pulled out to sea in all kinds of directions and come out of the protection of the cove. We don't want to drift so far out to sea that we come out from under the protections. of what God has for us. We don't want to get so out in rebellion, in sin, that we are acting outside of God's will, not being obedient to his call and being pulled out from that covering, that protection that comes from when we walk in tandem with his will, when his favor is upon us. And we are so close into relationship with God, with Jesus, the Holy Spirit that we say, nevertheless, Father, not our will be done but yours. Nevertheless, not our will be done but yours. Let's go on and look. Now I'm going to be reading various scriptures out of the New International Version of the Life Application Study Bible. Now we're looking at Isaiah sixteen, twelve to fourteen. When Moab appears at her high place, she only wears herself out. When she goes to her shrine to pray, it is to no avail. It is to no avail. When we put our trust in man and in man's idols, when we let pride overtake us and we get in that high place to where we believe that we're on the throne and we're in charge and we're in control, then we can get into trouble. Because we can start trusting in our own strength, our own power, and not coming under the lordship of Jesus and letting him lead us to the eternal place, the eternal goal where we need to get to advancing the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus came to do the will of the Father and we're to do the will of the Father. We're to show Jesus off to the world because he was our perfect example of what being in Christ is all about and being a kingdom ambassador is all about. Let's look at Romans three, nine through thirty-one. Romans three, nine to thirty-one. Romans three. When we look at nine, it talks about where no one is righteous. What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all. We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin as it is written. There is no one righteous, not even one. There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away. They have together become worthless. There is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves. Their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood, ruin and misery mark their ways. And the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes. There's no fear of God. They fear man, disappointing man, more than they fear disappointing God. Is that you? Do you fear man's opinion over stepping out boldly for who God's called you to be in this hour? That bold witness for Christ? Do you fear what others say about you? Do you try to fit in? Are you led by impulses? Emotions, flesh? Or are you being led by God? Coming under that Lordship, surrendering, being obedient. Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore, no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law. Rather, through the law, we've become conscious of sin. The law lets us know that we were sinners. Jesus came to set us free, put us in that right standing, in that right relationship, Repair that relational wound so that we can walk in the full strength and power as ambassadors of Christ's children of God. Jesus is our elder brother. We're seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Do we know it? Do we walk in it? Then it goes on righteousness through faith, forgiveness of sin through Christ. But now a righteousness from God apart from law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. there is no difference. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice because in his forbearance, he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in jesus those who have faith in jesus we are to put our faith in jesus We are to put our faith in Jesus. We have been made right through Jesus. Let's not put our faith in man and the systems of the world. Let's look at Proverbs eight, twelve to fourteen. Proverbs eight, twelve to fourteen. I wisdom dwell together with prudence. I possess knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Counsel and sound judgment are mine. I have understanding and power. I pray that you get wisdom and understanding. That's my prayer for you. That you come into the full knowledge of all that God has for you. That you understand the ways of the kingdom. That you have a healthy fear of the Lord, hating evil, and choosing the path of righteousness for his name's sake. Let's look at Luke two. Luke two, eight to nine. Luke two, eight to nine. We see again here where it's talking about fear. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them and they were terrified. Same thing that happened to Peter and James on the mountain of transfiguration. They had a fear of the Lord and a healthy fear of the Lord because they saw the glory of the Lord. They were overcome. Let that fear drive you. Don't let it be a paralyzing fear, a fear of man or of the world, because perfect love casts out all fear. Walk in perfect peace as your eyes are fixed upon the Lord, not the world and the world's problems. Focus on the work done on the cross and that you've been set free. But the angel said to them, do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. And it goes down to say, glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace to men on whom his favor rests. We get peace. That's our portion. That's our portion. We get to have peace. protection from the storms of life. As long as we stay in that right alignment, walking so closely in relationship to Jesus, that we hear the whispers from the Holy Spirit, the knowing of the Spirit, this is the way, walk in it. Go this way. Don't go that way. You're drifting too far to the right. Come back to the center. Come back to the center. Come back to what brought you out of the darkness and into the light. Remember your beginnings. Remember what brought you such peace in the beginning. Maybe you've drifted far away. Maybe you got out there and you got into a place of comfort, even in a job maybe. even in a position in ministry, to where you let yourself get too complacent, to where you stopped seeking God in the morning like you used to do, getting in that secret place, drawing from the wellspring of living water never to thirst again, letting him fill you up every day, getting alone in that time that you have together with him, that sweet time, building yourself up, by praying in tongues, seeking heavenly wisdom and knowledge and not the wisdom from men, from other leaders. You have to go to the source. You have to go directly to God by way of the spirit of truth. I say this all the time. When God called me, It wasn't a conference call. It was not a conference call. I know it was said to me. I know the promises and I know what he's asked and tasked me with to do. And I will obey that command because he is my authority. He is my sovereign ruler. He is my king. Jesus is my king. And Jesus dwells inside of me. And he wants to dwell inside of you too. If you don't know Jesus, I invite you to know Jesus. I invite you to know Jesus. Ask him to be Lord and Savior of your life. To come inside you, to make you fresh and new. A new creature where the old is gone and the new is here. Repent of your sins and say, Lord Jesus, make me fresh and new. Cleanse me. I know you died on the cross. I know you rose again. I know you're coming back for me. I know you're seated in heavenly places. I know your blood was shed on Calvary so I could be redeemed. I want to walk in wholeness. I want to walk in that truth. I surrender my life to you, Jesus. I make you Lord and Savior of my life. Confess that with your mouth openly. Invite God into your heart. Lord Jesus, into your heart. Speak it out loud. Fully God, fully man. He already knows the things you've done. Forgiveness is yours. You just need to repent and ask him and ask him to be Lord and Savior of your life. And then say, Holy Spirit, come live inside of me. I want you to dwell inside of me. I want you to make me fresh and new. I want you to guide me. I want to be on that eternal time clock, clocked in for Jesus and not clocked in for the world. That's what I want. Jesus, that's what I want. That's what I want. Now, let's look at the next section that he has. Galatians three, one to four. Galatians three, one to four. Galatians three, one to four. You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes, Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you. Did you receive the spirit by observing the law or by believing that you what you heard? Are you so foolish after beginning with the spirit? Are you now trying to attain your goal through human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing? If it really was for nothing, does God give you his spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law or because you believe what you heard? Consider Abraham. He believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. Understanding that those who believe are children of Abraham, the scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham. All nations will be blessed through you. So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. You are blessed, highly favored, empowered to prosper. Empower to prosper. You know, he talks about beginning in the spirit and now trying to attain your goal through human effort. Like we saw in Isaiah, where we read earlier, the Moabites turned to their false gods and idols. Only God can save us. We have the promise of the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit lead you, not the world, not the world, not the world. Now, let's go a little bit back. Let's go to First Samuel, fifteen, twenty two to twenty three. First Samuel, fifteen, twenty two to twenty three. Bear with me, I thought I had marked it. Here it is. Twenty-two to twenty-three. Now this is talking about Saul and he's being disobedient, but now he doesn't really see it that way. So I think that's kind of funny. That's kind of like us. We can be disobedient, but talk ourselves into the fact, no, We're obedient. We're following God's will. We can get over into our flesh or get so caught up in earthly things and trying to please man that we don't stop and practice the pause before we answer, before we accept something. before we go and pray on it, let me pray on that for a couple of days and I'll get back to you. Instead of us doing that, we accept something that we know in an instance the wrong way. It's not what we should be doing because it's outside of the alignment that God has for us and our particular assignment. It doesn't mean that that person's wrong or that person's done something wrong or their ministry's wrong or that church is wrong, but you just realize, oof, I'm not in alignment because the peace leaves you. And we have to have discernment. We have to get the conviction of the Holy Spirit and follow peace as our guide. The moment my peace is taken from me, then I know that I have drifted too far to the right or too far to the left. And I need to come back to center and get in alignment, spiritual alignment, become obedient and surrender even more to God, because I'll think things should be a certain way. I want to go my own way or try to convince myself that is God's way, because maybe it's the comfortable path or maybe it is. fulfills a need that I needed or wanted. Like, you know, maybe I had a little pride in me or a little ego or I wanted self-gratification, people pleasing, any of those things. But was it what God had for me? Was it his best that he had for me? The devil can come in and you get swayed by an offer early on. and it not be of God. I can remember when we sold everything to follow, uh, Christ. And we left our, we sold our house on the golf course, our sailboat. I sold my FJ cruiser, all of it. And we ended up leaving that area and moving to Fort Myers, Florida and purchasing our ten acres of land and moving into a five hundred and seventy six little square foot tiny house. And that includes a front porch. Some it's a part model. You know, it's basically a trailer. We do have a tiny home, too, on the land. But I remember following God and, and and doing that. But in the beginning, I got so over into my flesh because we were living with David's parents. I had been uprooted from my home. And those of us that have had trauma, childhood trauma, we don't do well if we're displaced or there's a change in our routine. And so I had to grow in that area. I had to grow through the uncomfortable season, but I wanted to march right into the first house I saw. And I'm like, no, no, I heard God. This is of God. It wasn't. And God, that door got closed. Now I could have tried to pry it open. The realtor called about this one house and said, you know, there's a house. And I just knew that was going to be ours. But then it went under contract and we had not even sold our house at the time. And I said, no, rushing's not of God. I don't have peace about it. If God wants me to have that property, I'll have that property. Well, he didn't. It sold. And I still cried. I'm like, oh God, make a way, make a way. I know that's the way you have for me. Open that door. Get me that house. Yeah, I know. Now, looking at what he did get us, ten acres with a gorgeous lake. It looks like Psalm twenty three come alive. Double for our trouble. I would have settled at that place. Just outside the promised land. Because I wanted so desperately to get out of that place of discomfort. And enter that place of right in the promise where I'm in the fulfillment of what God has for me, working in my place in my assignment. But I had to rely on God to open the door he wanted for me. To wait on what he had for me. The best he had for me. The exceedingly abundantly more that you can ask, think or imagine. I want more. I want to go for all. I want the fullness of the promise. I want more. Do you want more? Is God calling you to more? Are you settling just outside the promised land because the giants in the land are so big that you've forgotten how big your God is? Have you forgotten how big your God is? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus, the God that will never leave you nor forsake you. It wasn't too long that I had to wait and I got our land and I'm so grateful to God for the miracle of this land, for waiting on God's timing. I'm waiting on God's timing because this land has blessed thousands and thousands of people. And it is going to continue to bless thousands and thousands of people as we grow his ministry. As I step into the fullness of the call he's placed on my life. And I'm standing. I'm sitting in our ministry office. That's the light shining through. And the lake is, I'm looking at the lake. I am sitting in the promise right now in a fulfillment of a promise because he's a good father. But I had to grow past my discomfort, go through a season of waiting, not knowing, living with David's parents for a while who were amazing. The only parents I've known and I love them dearly. I had to go to this uncomfortable place. So that I could grow and realize the first shiny things that comes along is often a distractor. That can be a relationship too. I had one of those. I've been divorced and I'm in an amazing marriage now with a wonderful husband, David. But I met and married a man. in a bar after three weeks. That was my first marriage. Trauma chose that man. Trauma chose that relationship. I got into that relationship based on a trauma response, a survival response, a need to have someone in my life so desperately that I cling to the wrong man, to the wrong thing. and endured years and years of abuse and of things I never should have endured. God had more for me. God had my David that I have now, but I had to believe it. I had to have something inside of me rise up To say you are worthy of more. You can have more. God has more for you. I want you to get to that place. I want you to know God's got more for you. Don't you dare settle right outside your promised land. Now let's keep reading. So, first Samuel. And we're looking at twenty... First Samuel, fifteen. I got twenty two to twenty three, but I think I'm gonna start at twenty. But I did obey the Lord, Saul said. I went on the mission the Lord assigned me. I completely destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag, their king. The soldiers took sheep and cattle from the plunder. The best of what was devoted to God in order to sacrifice them to the Lord, your God at Gilgal. Saul assumed he knew God's will. He also got over into flesh, wanting to please the people. Be careful that you're truly following God and not someone else that's trying to be like God. I think that's a word for all of us right now. We've got to make sure we're following the right thing. We're following King Jesus. But Samuel replied, does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices? As much as in obeying the voice of the Lord, obedience is better than sacrifice. To obey is better than sacrifice. and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you as king. You as king. Now look what Saul says. Then Saul said to Samuel, and boy, don't we have excuses? A lot of times we can have excuses. I have sinned. I violated the Lord's command and your instructions. I was afraid of the people. And so I gave in to them. That's also casting blame onto others. We do that too, right? See that? I was afraid of the people. I was afraid of the people. So I gave into them. So I gave into them. His disobedience cost him the kingdom. And Samuel went on to anoint David after that. What's your disobedience costing you? yourself and costing others? Are you clocking in for Jesus and on his time clock? Are you following the ways of the world? Are you trusting God to supply all your needs? Are you looking for a quick fix, a relationship, a man, a woman to fulfill a need inside of you? Men and women human beings will fail you. God will never fail you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You need to put your trust in Jesus, not me, not Tammy Tony Butler, not Reflective Spaces Ministry. You need to put your trust in Jesus, Lord Jesus. The greatest thing that I have to offer you is to show you Jesus and to get you on fire and love him as much as I do and rely on him like I do. I have to have him lead me. And it's awesome. And I have to follow him and obey. And yes, I do disappoint people. And I am going to disappoint someone I'm sure soon to let them know that I'm not going down a pathway that I was asked to go because it's not what God has for me this season. You got to be led. It's all about timing. It's all about alignment with God. That's why it's so important to obedience because there is a time and a season for everything. And we cannot act out of God's time and we can't act because of, he was afraid, he had fear of man. We can't have that. We can have a healthy fear of the Lord, which we need and should have. Let that guide us so that we come under his lordship, under his command, following the sovereign rule of our King Jesus. But we can't let pride and emotions and those things guide us in fear of man or the world systems because we get into trouble and we can have things taken from us. Let's keep going. Let's look at numbers twenty, one through thirteen. In the first month, the whole Israelite community arrived at the desert of Zin and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. Now there was no water for the community. And the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. They quarreled with Moses and said, if only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord. Why did you bring the Lord's community into this desert that we and our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink. Boy, they're complaining, aren't they? I know I've done some complaining. I was telling someone the other day that on the land, I mean, we do our own fencing. I'm out cutting pepper hedges, doing everything. I literally follow the Holy Spirit. He tells me to go out there and fill a trailer and cut down a tree I do it. I do what he tells me to do. And I remember the first, let's see, this is going on our sixth year now at the land and we've been fencing ten acres and field fencing and internal fencing and doing all this stuff. And I remember the first few times I'd go out there gruff and complaining. Well, I went around and around and around and around many times. And this last time, then the Holy Spirit whispered, it's time for you to go out and cut and clean up the road because my husband was out of town. Man, I went out there with the joy of the Lord. I was singing. I was praising. Thank you, Jesus. You know, I get to serve. I get to do this. I mean, I had such a change in me. I went from complaining and bitterness and all this stuff to, and why can't my husband do this and blah, blah, blah, to now singing praises while I'm serving, realizing I'm serving God, whatever I'm doing, whether I'm in the pasture, cleaning out the stall, which I need to go do, or whether I'm in the church, wherever I am, I have the joy of the Lord in me because I'm serving Jesus. And that's what we have to do. We have to get out of our feelings, our emotions, being led by people, people's opinions, impulses, self-gratification, pause, pray, and seek the will of God and his pathway for us. So let's keep reading. Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell face down. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said, so see, they went, they stopped, they prayed. They sought the Lord. The Lord said to Moses, take the staff and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. And what was the command? The command was to speak to that rock. That was God's command. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink. So God answered him. God told him what to do. So Moses took the staff from the Lord's presence just as he commanded him. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, listen, you rebels. So it sounds like Moses was a little ticked off. Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock? Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. What did God tell him to do? He said, speak to it. God spoke the world into existence. He wanted him to speak to that rock, rely on faith, rely on God to bring forth the water and the rain and the provision. He got over into his flesh, got a little ticked off and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out in the community and their livestock and grain. So he pleased the people. Saul pleased the people. But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, because you did not trust me, trusted me, meaning have faith in me, enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them. These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the Lord and where he showed himself holy among them. So we have to be very careful that we're not being disobedient, even in the small things. Man, I fear the Lord. I'm just going to tell you, I do. I fear him. And I pray every day, get me out of me. You know, don't let me get in the way of what you have for me. Don't let me get over into flesh, into emotions. Crucify that. Let me come so under your Lordship that I'm so in tuned with Christ that I follow your will even to be obedient unto death like Jesus. That's what we have to say in this time. We have to be clocked in for Jesus. Now we're almost done. Let's look at Leviticus twenty six. Leviticus twenty six. Now in Leviticus twenty six, I just want to point out. that there's a reward for obedience, receiving God's blessing, and then there's punishment, as we've seen, for disobedience. So we want to make sure that we are being obedient, that we're obeying the commands of our true king and not following shame or guilt or fear or regret or self-loathing, self-gratification, people-pleasing, Following people, straying away from our spiritual alignment, from what God has for us, and following man to people, please. People don't like it when you say, well, God's called me over here and I love that opportunity, but I just can't, I can't do it. I just can't do it. I have no peace in my spirit about it. It's not what God's called me to do. Maybe he's called you to do it. Maybe he's called you to raise up a leader so they can do that so that we can edify and build up the body and not bring disunity within the body. There's a lot of dying to flesh that goes on when you're following Jesus. And I guess in my journey, it's been about fifteen years now, I think. And it's just been layer after layer after layer after layer after layer that's being shed. And every time I think I got all the junk out of my trunk. Something else comes along. The death of my baby sister at the beginning of the year. That that was rough. But God saw me through that. and all the emotions and feelings that come up after a loved one dies, when you've been raised and cultivated in an environment of trauma, of dysfunction. Man, God sure has set me free from the addictions I used to cope, all these things. He's so good. I just love Jesus. I just love God. So that's what I wanted you to see in that part. Now, I want you to look at Ecclesiastes twelve. Ecclesiastes. I'm sorry, I'm looking to see why I have this mark. I don't think that I have that mark for that. I'm looking at Ecclesiastes twelve thirteen. Ecclesiastes twelve thirteen. Now, where I had it marked was my Ecclesiastes. I tell you what, that book of Ecclesiastes, man, that's some reading right there. It's, yeah, it was strong. And I was kind of shocked to see, you know, let me just go and look because I cannot find it right now. Let me, there's no humility in looking at at my list and to see where, one, one, three, three. Okay. So one, one, three, three. Here we go. Ecclesiastes, twelve, thirteen. And I do encourage you to read all this Ecclesiastes because it's good, but it's, you know, what's funny He's basically saying nothing's worth anything. And, you know, our jobs, everything, material possessions, everything's going to pass away. Dust we are, dust we return and all this stuff. And he gets to the last part. And it says the conclusion of the matter. Not only was a teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. The teacher searched to find just the right words. And what he wrote was upright and true. The words of the wise are like goads. They're collected sayings like firmly embedded nails given by one shepherd. Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them, of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. Now all has been heard. Here is the conclusion of the matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. That's the conclusion of the matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. Fear God and keep his commandments. And as we grow in Christ, as we become mature in Christ, and as we move from milk to meat, as we grow in our knowledge, as we increase in our capacity to digest and consume more of the word of God, then we can grow into all God's called us to be. And that's so important in this season, in this time that we have together, that we clock in for Jesus, that we recognize God's trying to do a thing in the earth. He's trying to do something. And are you in your place of alignment with him? Are you growing in the capacity that he wants you to grow in so that you can serve the kingdom at a greater measure, growing into the fullness of the promise set before you? Are you growing into that leader he's called you to be in this hour? It's all about you this season. Make it about you. Make it about your spiritual growth in Christ Jesus. Put aside all distractions. Clock in for Jesus. Step into all he's called you to be. Grow. Get alone with him. Practice the pause. And know he's with you. And he'll never leave you nor forsake you. Because what's our goal? We're to grow. We're to grow as Christians through that process of sanctification, of interglorification. But there's steps. Just keep growing, keep believing, keep trusting, get in the word of God. Know he's with you this season. He's never left you and he'll never leave you. I hope this teaching has blessed you. I don't know who it's for, but the Lord put it on me to come and to reveal his truth to you. And I just want to thank you for tuning in for this time that we have together. God bless you. God keep you. May his light shine upon you. May you have joy this day. Happiness is fleeting. So I want you to have joy. That's eternal. a peace that surpasses all understanding, growing in the knowledge of who you are, operating in those gifts that he's placed inside of you and growing into that leader that I believe you are.
