About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about

Hello, welcome to the Reflective Spaces Ministry podcast and YouTube channel. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist and your host. I thank you that you are here with us today and we get to glean from the Word of God. and and learn uh from the knowledge and wisdom that only comes from studying the scriptures holy spirit we know that you're the host of this show and everything that we do come have your way in this time that we have together may they hear you and not me see you and not me and may we reveal lord jesus throughout everything we do and spread the good news, the gospel, to all those who have the ear to hear and the eyes to see. And that's my prayer, that they have the ears to hear and the eyes to see spiritually, and that they walk by faith and not by sight, and that their faith muscle is increased, and that they strengthen each other and are also strengthened in their inner man by the word of God. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, thank you, thank you. As we breathe your life, your work into this episode. How many of you are facing a giant? Is there a giant in your land that you're called to occupy? Okay. Is there people that are speaking death over your promised land? Are they keeping you from entering it? Trying to have you doubt the call God's placed on your life by their words, by their actions? Or are you truly walking with the strength that you need this season to overcome everything you face, that giant of addiction, that giant of trauma, that giant of poverty, Those bills that are piling up, that giant of divorce, a job change, career move, letting go of things that no longer serve you this season so that you can follow God as he desires for you to. fully surrendered, fully committed to growing in him the knowledge of him and in the word of God as it permeates your being and brings you into all truth, one scripture at a time. Are you in control of your life? Or have you let go realizing you never had control? You couldn't control what they did to you, what they said about you, and you couldn't control your response. But I'm here to tell you when you're in Christ Jesus and you have the heart and mind of Christ, He gives you the strength to overcome any giant you're facing. But what report do you believe? Do you believe the report of the giants, of the naysayers? Or do you believe the report of the word spoken to you by the almighty God when you were in your secret place with him? by his Holy Spirit speaking to you, guiding you into all truth. I know years have gone by and you've struggled and you fought and you haven't entered into the promised land yet. You've gotten a taste of it here and a taste of it there. But folks have come, even those close to you, to kill, steal, destroy, and distract. Satan will use anyone he can to distract you. Remember, we don't operate against flesh, but against principalities and powers in high places. Look at Ephesians six. We don't wrestle against flesh. So you have to understand there's a whole spiritual world and spiritual warfare behind that giant you're facing. But you need to put that giant up against the word of God and see what the word of God says about your situation. Do you believe God? Or do you believe the naysayers? Do you believe God's word? Do you believe in the work done on the cross? Do you believe Jesus died, rose again on the third day, is seated in heavenly places to the right of the Father, interceding on your behalf? Do you believe that stuff? Then you know that healing is your portion. By his stripes, you were healed. So if you believe in the work done on the cross and you believe in King Jesus and he's Lord and Savior of your life, then you need to believe that you've been healed of that heartache, of that cancer, of that arthritis, of that sciatica. of that depression that you face. Rebuke that spirit of infirmary and face the giant head on and let that giant know the God that you serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus Christ, who shed his blood on Calvary so that we could be set free and have abundant life. And he who the Son sets free is free indeed. So what report will you believe? The naysayers? Are those closest to you that are actually speaking life into you? That actually believe in the call that God has placed on your life? Will you follow them? Which way will you go? Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe that you're worthy of more of the exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask for, think or imagine? Jeremiah, twenty nine, eleven to hope his hope is to give you a hope and a future. Do you believe in those things? Do you believe the negative words spoken years ago about you that said you're worthless, you don't matter, you'll never make it? Those were lies from the pit of hell. And we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. And we spread the truth this day. And we erase every negative word spoken over your life by the blood of Jesus. You'll walk in abundant life this season. In twenty twenty six, you will enter into your promised land. If you don't grow weary, and you don't faint and you draw from scripture like Isaiah, you look at Psalm and know who your refuge is and your ever present help in times of trouble. Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe in yourself? That's what he's asking you today. What will you believe? Let's look in scripture at the spies and the giants in the land. Let's read a little bit of God's word. When you look at numbers, we're going to start with numbers thirteen and it goes over into, you know, thirteen and fourteen. The Lord spoke to Moses saying, send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the people of Israel. So they sent men to spy out the land of Canaan. And then we skip down a little bit to We'll skip down to sixteen. These were the names of the men who Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hosea, the son of Nun Joshua. Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan and said to them, go up into the Negev and go up into the hill country and see what the land is and whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak. whether they are few or many, and whether the land that they dwell in is in good or bad, and whether the cities they dwell in are camps or strongholds. And whether the land is rich or poor, and whether there are trees in it or not, be of good courage and bring some of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes." Those first fruits that we have access to as believers. If we believe on the promise in the word of God. So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob near Labahamoth. They went up into the Negev and came to Hebron. Ahamin, Seshua, Tamia, and the descendants of Anak were there. Hebron was built seven years before Zon in Egypt. And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes. And they carried it on a pole between two of them. They also brought some pomegranates and figs. That place was called the Valley of Eshkol because of the cluster that the people of Israel cut down from there. And then the next section is a report of the spies. At the end of forty days, they returned from spying out the land. Let me ask you, who's been spying in your land? Who's been coming into your territory and trying to scout out what's surrounding you. Have they come to kill, steal, destroy, and destroy? Or have they come to encourage you, to lift you up, to strengthen you, to edify you, to build you up, to build up the body, to unify? Or have they come to sow seeds of discord, angst among the brethren? Look at their actions. What do they say? What do they say? And they came to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They brought back word to them and to all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land. And they told them, we came to the land to which you sent us. It flows with milk and honey. And this is its fruit. However, the people who dwell in the land are strong and the cities are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negev, the Hittites, the Jebusites and the Amorites dwell in the hill country and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the Jordan. But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it. Then the men who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are. But they are stronger than we are. They didn't look at the size of their God. They just looked at the giant they were facing. So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, The land through which we have gone to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who came from the Nephilim, and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers. And so we seemed to them. And so we seemed to them. You know, the people go on to... to, you know, grumble. And well, I'll just keep reading that part because I think it's important. Then all the congregation raised a loud cry and the people wept that night. And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. They weren't happy with their leadership. The whole congregation said to them, would that we had died in the land of Egypt or would that we had died in this wilderness? Why is the Lord bringing us into this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt? And they said to one another, let us choose a leader and go back to Egypt. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the people of Israel. And Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes and said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, "'The land which we passed through to spy it out is an exceedingly good land.'" If the Lord delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the Lord and do not fear the people of the land for they are bred for us. Their protection is removed from them and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them. Do not fear them. Do not fear the giants that you are facing because God is bigger than anything you face. Jesus died so that we have access to the Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us into all truth. We should never be offended as Christians. And I know that may offend some of you that I said it, but we should never be offended because we should take any situation we face into a prayer closet and gain insight into the truth of why something was spoken. We should be able to enter in to a communication and exchange with a fellow believer and be able to pray in any situation, invite the Holy Spirit in and seek God's truth about the matter. And the Holy Spirit will speak to us and everyone there and guide us into all truth. And we'll know if we messed up, the Spirit convicts us. We see and we look in Acts, the entire book of Acts, we see people that are completely led by the Spirit of God. Completely surrendered and led by the Spirit of God. And that is what we have to have in this season, in this hour. We must be led by the Spirit of God not by emotions, not by the world's truth. We must only be led by God's truth and glean from the field of those that have come before us. As we go back to the ancient paths of being a spirit-led church, a spirit-led body to where we know the truth and the truth sets us free. To where we function as one unified body under the head, which is Lord Jesus Christ. Maybe I'm the toe. Maybe I'm the finger. But let me know what part I play, because Holy Spirit, I'm only going to be led by you. I'm only going to be led by you. And that's what I want you to say this season. And I want you to surrender to God's call on your life and refuse to partner up with anything that's going to kill, steal, destroy, or distract, or take you out of alignment for all that God has for you. Because we must be aligned spiritually. We must be aligned in this hour. We must be aligned in this hour. and follow Lord Jesus in all that we do, he died so we would have access to his spirit, the spirit of Christ that lives within us. And if Jesus is within us, no giant we face is bigger than our Jesus because we know that he obtained victory over death Over sin. The wages of sin. With his death on the cross. With his death on the cross. And we are victorious in Christ Jesus. We already know how it ends. He comes back. In the clouds. Leading us, guiding us. and we have a short victory. But we need to rise up and recognize that any situation we face, we already face it from a place of victory and from a perspective of victory. So it doesn't matter how big the giant is, what giant you face. You look at all the angels that are encamped about you. You look at all that you have access to when he gave you the keys to the kingdom. We have access to the healing power, the resurrection power by way of the spirit of Christ that lives within us and works through us and pours out and into others. So there is nothing that we face, the giant of cancer, the giant of debt, the giant of offense, the giant of affliction, the giant of unforgiveness, the giant of addiction. There is absolutely nothing that we face that we can't overcome in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus. So no matter what giant you face, make sure you know who your God is. Make sure you know who your God is. Make sure you know who your God is. And you speak to that giant that you're facing. And you cast it into the sea. And you speak the word of God. Use your sword of truth over every situation. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. And that's what he has for you today. Holy Spirit, I just pray for the strength of everyone listening, for the healing, for those mountains to move in their life, that mountain of addiction, that mountain of debt. I place everything under your feet, knowing that you've overcome it all. Help us, Father. Strengthen us. Protect us under your wing. Guide us into all truth. Help us to be led by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Jesus that lives in us. To say, nevertheless, not our will be done, but yours, oh God. Help us to pick up our cross and follow you, Jesus. No matter where it takes us. As we walk by faith and not by sight. Help us, God. Help us, God. Help us. We're crying out in the wilderness of affliction. asking you to help us as we believe in you. And as you go with us into the promised land in twenty twenty six, no more grumbling, no more complaining. We want what's ours and we trust that you with us is all we need. to overcome every obstacle we face by your strength in your mind. And we praise you now for breakthrough, for deliverance, for abundance, for healing, for strength. Thank you, Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, we declare all things. Amen.
