Hello, I'm Tammy Toney-Butler of Reflective Spaces Ministry. Thank you so much for joining us today as we do this teaching on the four winds of God and as we focus on the east wind. Don't forget to like and subscribe our channel to our YouTube channel. And also, I just did a teaching on a reflective hour on Jonah and a call for repentance. So you'll want to make sure that you tune into that episode as well and that teaching. I did do a PowerPoint. So if you're listening to it in podcast audio format only, you may want to switch over to our YouTube channel. So make sure that you like and subscribe. and that you follow Reflective Spaces Ministry and also Reflective Hour. And so we are going to dive in to this message that God has for you. But let's pray first. Oh, Abba Father, Holy Spirit come, have your way in this time that we have together. May they see you and not me. May they glean from your knowledge, Lord Jesus. And may I articulate it in a way that it can penetrate bone and marrow and get into the areas to where it is needed the most. Father, may we call forth your glory during this time that we have together. And that you anoint these words of truth so that they can forever change the listener, the viewer. For one moment in your presence changes everything. Thank you, Father, that you've heard me. That you're with us now. guiding us, strengthening us, protecting us, sowing forth seeds that will reap a bountiful harvest. In the mighty name of your precious Son, Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen. So we will be doing a teaching on The Four Winds of God, A Sermon on the East Wind. And Father has placed on me to do a PowerPoint presentation, which I have put together under his guiding hand. And I will dive into that. But remember, there are Four winds of God. And we get to declare the release of those four winds. And there is an east wind that we can call forth. There is a south wind, a north wind, and a west wind. And we will be doing other teachings as he builds them on the other winds. But today he wanted me to focus on the east wind, which is in line with the message that I literally just did in teaching on Jonah during our last segment of Reflective Hour. And so now I'm going to go ahead and pull up my PowerPoint so that we can dive in together. So now we are looking at the four winds of God. And again, it's a sermon on the east wind. Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun will be sevenfold as the light of seven days in the day when the Lord binds up the brokenness of his people and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow. Isaiah, thirty twenty six out of the ESV. And I pulled this in from our previous teaching. on determined faith because we have to see in this scripture where it says heals the wounds inflicted by his blow by his blow and remember there are storms that are sent by God as we learned in our previous teaching on Jonah for correction judgment but not judgment in the sense of fear and fire and brimstone and that necessarily essence. Although we know we serve a God that, that will carry out his judgment, but let's look at it from the place of a warning to repent, to turn away from idolatry and turn towards the, Abba Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus. And that's what, when we were looking at the book of Jonah, that we were going through and dissecting. Jonah four, eight, King James version. And it came to pass when the sun did arise that God prepared a vehement east wind. Let's not lose sight of that vehement east wind. And the sun beat upon the head of Jonah that he fainted and wished in himself to die and said, it is better for me to die than to live. And again, that's Jonah four, eight King James version. Exodus, ten, thirteen, King James Version. And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind, see that, there it is again, an east wind, upon the land all that day and all that night. And when it was morning, the east wind brought the locust. Wow. Exodus, Exodus, Exodus, New International Version. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into a dry land. The waters were divided. Jeremiah, eighteen, seventeen, New Living Translation. I will scatter my people before their enemies as the east wind scatters dust. And in all their trouble, I will turn my back on them and refuse to notice their distress. See that? I'll scatter my people with an east wind. There's that east wind again. And I will turn my back on them and refuse to notice their distress. That means there comes a point that we will cry out to God. He will not answer, but he will lift his head to protection because he has sent us warning after warning after warning through his prophets. And we are not listening. We're not listening. Why would a just God bring adversity, wounds, trials, and tests to his people, or allow storms of judgment correction by removing his hedge of protection? And let's look at that a little bit more, hedge of protection. Let's look at Job, one tenth, King James Version. Hast not thou made an hedge about him and about his house and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands and his substance is increased in the land. And then Job one, ten amplified Bible. Cause I wanted to bring in a different version of it. Have you not put a hedge on, of protection around him and his house and all that he has on every side, you have blessed the work of his hands and conferred prosperity and happiness upon him. And his possessions have increased in the land. So what is the necessity for an east wind? Why does God do it? Why do we have it? Why do we declare it? Why are we called to declare it? What does the east wind bring? Calls forth judgment to curse and destroy every demonic locust in your life. Exposes and tears down demonic altars. Blows with great power and force. What does the east wind bring? It deals with the hearts of the witches and warlocks in the region to save their souls. Remember, God doesn't want anyone to perish. And we can go in and snatch them out of the jaws of the enemy because we have the power as the church, as the body of believers. Satan is under our feet. Never forget that. Satan is under our feet. breaks and destroys all demonic principalities removes everything our lives that is not like god and let's look at that a little bit more ephesians six twelve king james version for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places See that word, principalities. When we go back, what does the east wind bring? Breaks and destroys all demonic principalities. Let's look at Ephesians six, twelve, amplified Bible. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents. but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural places. What does the east wind bring? A character adjustment, as in Jonah's case, correction, judgment, repentance, It's also used in spiritual warfare. What's the ultimate goal of the east wind? Healing, freedom, restoration, salvation, victory over the forces of evil, deliverance for God's people. The east wind, one of the four winds of God, teaches us about correction in the case of Jonah. Jonah was rebellious. a man of God, a prophet. Jonah had character flaws that affected his role. Jonah wanted vengeance, was angry and selfish, and assumed he was the center of the universe. He was prideful. Jonah thought he knew best, but God sent a storm to wake up Jonah. How many of you have been sent storms or gone through a storm, financial, maybe through a, you know, a bad doctor's report, some type of illness, you know, maybe a child that's struggling with addiction or mental health issues. And you're trying to parent them. And it is such a difficult path to walk. So there's many storms that we face. But what is God trying to show us in those storms? Not every storm sent is from Satan. You know, we will face trials and tribulations as believers. The east wind, one of the four winds of God, teaches us about judgment in the case of the city of Nineveh. The pagan king demonstrated a repentant heart. The pagan sailors on Jonah's ship also demonstrated repentance and fear or reverence for God. And the people of Nineveh believed God's message and demonstrated godly sorrow and true repentance. God spared the city of Nineveh and stayed the judgment. He did not bring judgment on them because they repented. The people, the king, the ruler, even those sailors. There was true repentance, which Jonah didn't necessarily want. But we don't get to choose that. We don't get to have our way. It's not about our way. It's about God's way. It's about the kingdom of God. And it's about loving your brother as yourself, taking the gospel of truth to everyone, regardless of their race, regardless of their gender, regardless of their financial status. we are to take the gospel of truth, the purified gospel as his purified bride, uncontaminated by the world, not seeking our own agenda, but seeking the will of God. Jonah four nine, new living translation. Then God said to Jonah, is it right for you to be angry because the plant died? Yes, Jonah retorted, even angry enough to die. Jonah four, ten, new living translation. Then the Lord said, you feel sorry about the plant, though you did nothing to put it there. It came quickly and died quickly. Jonah four, eleven, new living translation. But Nineveh has more than one hundred twenty thousand people living in spiritual darkness, not to mention all the animals. Shouldn't I feel sorry for such a great city? God is saying, shouldn't he feel sorry for those that are caught in the bondage of sin? Those that are lost to addiction? Coping with some type of childhood trauma, some traumatic insult through pathways of addiction? These people did not know how to get out of their situation. They may not even realize, because they may have been focused with the day-to-day living, and they may not have realized how far their society, their city, their nation, their world had fallen into sin. How children were being sacrificed for profits. horribly victimized, and the nation turning a blind eye to it. For what profit of a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? A prophet has been sending warning message after warning message to God's people to protect his children, his flock, because he's a good shepherd. And he cares about the one, even if the ninety-nine are safe. If that one is your son or your daughter, your grandchild, you'd care. Have we lost touch as a society, as a world? Have we lost touch in the United States of America over what is truly the heart and will of God? Have we compromised the gospel? Are we sharing and spreading words of love? to everyone, regardless of what country they come from, where they live? Or are we being like Jonah, judging out of bitterness and anger and hate or a darkness that was inside of even Jonah? He was a man of God and used by God. But he had a hard time obeying God. God had to send several storms and east wind to get Jonah to turn back and stop rebelling. What storm has God sent to you for you to stop rebelling and turn away from those things that are killing you, that spiritual darkness that threatens to consume you? I was dead before Christ set me free. from the aftermath of childhood trauma and coping through various addictions. I owe God everything. Lord Jesus set me free and I honor him with my life because he gave me life. You don't have to live in darkness. We don't have to partner with sin. We get to have what we say. And there is a prayer that comes to us regarding the East Wind that we can pray together. And I will tell you in total transparency, Father had me praying for Hurricane Milton. He stopped, I was out of town and he had me stop what I was doing and pray. And he gave, the Holy Spirit gave me the words. I know nothing about storms. I just recited what the Holy Spirit said like a teleprompter. So that storm would break apart and you joined your faith with mine. And it did, it broke down and did not hit as a category five that would have brought massive devastation. There was mercy shown like to the people of Nineveh. And we need to unite and pray again against the storms that are facing us. our nation, our world, as a body of believers. We have to follow God's will, his perfect will, in line with his word. We aren't to be like Jonah. We aren't to assume what God's will is. We aren't to assume he wants to annihilate and destroy a whole population of people. because that's not the God I serve. That's not the God that's portrayed in Jonah. Let's look at that. Let's pull up scripture. Now I read the entire book of Jonah, all four sections in the last segment with reflective hour. And it says here, When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened. Jonah's anger at the Lord's mercy. Jonah was angry because the Lord was merciful to Nineveh because they repented. They turned away from their idolatry. But Jonah thought the universe centered around him. And the anger and bitterness and the focus being on him and being selfish, he led the people astray to where he wanted... I shouldn't say he led the people astray. I should say that in his heart, he did not want... He wanted them to be destroyed. Destroyed. And God did not want that. God's desire is for us to repent and come back and come to him. He doesn't want any of us to perish. This change of plans greatly upset Jonah and he became very angry. So he complained to the Lord about it. Didn't I say before I left home that you would do this, Lord? This is why I ran away to Tarshish. I knew that you are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. You're eager to turn back from destroying people. You are eager to turn back from destroying people. Jonah was upset that God had decided, no, I'm not going to destroy people because they've listened to the message. They listened to it. We have to listen to the message that God is portraying now. We have to say to ourselves, are we like the people of Nineveh? Are we serving idols? Are we sowing seeds of hate and revenge and bitterness as prophets of God, as men and women of God? Are we obeying and only speaking God's truth and in our heart fully surrendered with the right heart posture to truly Show love to even our enemies. Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do. We're to pray for those that persecute us, that hurt us. Even turn the other cheek, remember, and let them get that cheek too. The greatest commandments are love. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Love God with all your heart. Lean not on your own understandings. We're to show the light and love of Christ to a dark world, a world filled with spiritual darkness. We aren't to assume we know what God wants because his ways are higher than our ways. He doesn't want anybody to perish. I know that's hard for some of you to understand. He doesn't want anyone to perish. He doesn't. He doesn't. Now there's moments in us that people have hurt us and wronged us. And of course it's natural. It took me a long time to forgive those that hurt me. But I realized unforgiveness only blocked the flow of healing in my life. It only blocked the flow of the blessings in my life. And it only was destroying me. It wasn't destroying them. They weren't even thinking about it. I'm sure they didn't even care. Those that are wrong me. So it was only eating me up. And so there was so much freedom when I let go and let God and gave it all to him and chose faith over fear, love over hate, forgiveness over unforgiveness. And we have to ask ourselves as a body of believers, when we're going into this, you know, election that's coming up and in a few days and, you know, Are we ensuring a smooth transition by what we say? Are we calling for unity and peace within our brethren, recognizing that even though they may be of a different nationality or gender, race, financial status, we're all filthy rags. set free by Christ, set apart in a royal priesthood. We're to love our neighbor as ourself. We're to turn our other cheek. And we aren't to judge. So when we're praying, what is the posture of our heart when we're making decrees and declarations in the name of God? Is our heart posture truly surrendered to the Lord's will? Is the Holy Spirit leading our prayers? Are we praying in spirit and truth? Are we praying from a place of agenda and compromise? That's what we have to ask ourselves in this hour. Because God sent a storm to wake up Jonah. He was sending judgment to Nineveh, but it was stayed because they repented, which we have to. We have to turn away from idolatry. We are in the world, but not of the world. Father knew us before he formed us in the womb. He had already created us with a purpose. He placed us in the womb And our parents, our mom gave birth to us, but it was preordained and destined what we were to do for the kingdom of God. We were born for a kingdom purpose. We have a purpose to fulfill a destiny. We are in the world, but not of the world. But are we letting the world contaminate us? Even our prayers, even our pulpits. Or are we spreading the purified true gospel, truth and love to where you can see clearly God's heart? He said there's a hundred and twenty thousand people in Nineveh and animals. And he didn't want the animals to die. He didn't want the people to die. He's a good father and he does not want you to live in spiritual darkness and perish. He doesn't want that. So we've learned what the winds can do. We've learned that we have power to decree and declare what we want. So we're going to say this prayer in faith. We're going to say this prayer. And in the blank, you can put in and add in there some things that you're struggling with. But we're going to pray and come together and unite. We're going to call forth first peaceful election in the United States of America, a peaceful transition of power, a unified body of believers to carry out the will of God, the perfect will of God, without compromise. There will be no rioting. There will just be this peaceful resolve that we're one nation under God, indivisible, for liberty and justice for all. We have to follow God in his will above everything else because it's about spreading the true gospel and winning souls into the kingdom of God. Father God, I release the east wind In the name of Jesus, to bring judgment against the forces of darkness and to release the powers of God in his house, in my house, in my life, in my finances, in my relationships, in my health, in the United States of America and in the world. We call for that east wind. Father God, I release the east wind in the name of Jesus. I call forth the judgment of the east wind to curse and destroy every demonic locust in your life. I declare that the east wind will expose and tear down every demonic altar in the name of Jesus. Let the winds blow with great power and force. I release the spiritual effects of each wind of God upon the land in the name of Jesus. I declare that when the east wind blows, it will deal with the hearts of the witches and warlocks in our region. Father God, I ask that you visit every witch and warlock and save their souls before it's too late in the name of Jesus. I release the east wind to break and destroy all demonic principalities in the name of Jesus. Release your wind to remove everything that is not like God in our lives. After the apostolic winds are released, bring that healing, freedom, restoration, and salvation to our land of To our land. We thank you Father. That you've heard us. And through our faith. Joined together. We'll have peace. For there is. No fear in perfect love. And we don't operate from fear. We operate from faith. I pray for each of you. Prayer of protection. healing and strength as you endure these next few days and weeks and months. As we move as a body of believers to bring the light into those barren, dry places where that east wind has been blowing for correction. I pray for the people that they turn away from sin and turn towards the love and freedom that the purified gospel brings to a woman like me who sinned. Like the woman at the well in Samaria. The woman with the issue of blood. The man with the withered hand. The centurion soldier's faith was noted as a powerful testament of how we should be as believers. Let's anchor into that steadfast faith. Stay strong and united and know that God is in control. No matter what we hear, God is in control. In the powerful name of Lord Jesus, we pray and decree and declare all these things. May his will be done in and through us, his perfect will. May you see him and not me. May you long to know him more, seeking wisdom, understanding from the kingdom and fresh revelation. As the mysteries are revealed through his word. And you glean what you need to glean through even this teaching. For the hour is upon us. Keep your lamps full as he's coming for his bride. In the mighty name of Jesus. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler. That's today's message and teaching. God bless you and keep you. And I pray for each of you for bountiful blessings, plentiful harvest, protection, and provision. God bless you.
