Healing Is Your Portion Sermon On Divine Healing

Welcome to Healing is Your Portion, a sermon on divine healing. And I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Evangelist, Author, and servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. That there's hope. There's hope. There's hope. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they see you and not me, hear you and not me. May they have spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see what it is that you have for them during this time that we have together. May they believe that healing is their portion. And may they internalize it to healing is my portion. And may they be forever set free. Set free. For he who the Son sets free is free indeed. And let's revisit our title. Healing is your portion. I mean, you can get some of them for, I believe, ninety nine cents a dollar. And then the other books are all well under ten dollars. It's made available to you and it is a tool and a resource that you can use as you go out as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ to heal, to restore, and to set free. So make sure you get yourselves copies of that trilogy on divine healing. So we're going to get in to the message that he has for you today. And it's healing is your portion. And again, I am Evangelist Butler, Tammy Toni Butler. So let's move into this. How many of you believe healing is your portion? how many of you believe that healing is your portion it all starts with believing believing on the son of god believing on the lord jesus christ knowing that he died on the cross so you could be set free and have abundant life. And today, if you don't know that Jesus, I invite you to know that Jesus, that yoke breaking love that Jesus offers to those that call upon and believe on his name. There are four types of divine healing in the Bible. We have wounds, four types of wounds. There are spiritual wounds, emotional wounds, relational wounds, and physical wounds. And we're going to pay close attention to the relational wound today because that's where we need to start. That's where we need to start. Again, let's pay close attention. to that relational wound because it's the key to divine healing. Jesus died on the cross so we could be healed relationally with God, reconciled to God. Every time a person comes to Christ They are freed, healed from the debt owed because of the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden. The sin or the debt is nailed to the cross, paid in full because of Jesus' sacrifice. You have a full pardon and healing is your portion. Let me prove it to you. Therefore, If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone. The new is here. All this is from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. And that's second Corinthians five, seventeen to eighteen reading out of the NIV. That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. Second Corinthians five, nineteen of the NIV. Now let's go on into second Corinthians five, twenty of the NIV. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God, be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Second Corinthians five, twenty one. Now, let's look at some more scriptures and read them about healing. We're going to look at Mark eleven, twenty two to twenty five, and I'm going to read it out of the complete Jewish Bible. Mark eleven, twenty two to twenty five. Twenty two to twenty five. Let's see here. Eleven, twenty two to twenty five. I want to make sure I've got the right scripture. Okay, so we're going to start here. He responded, have the kind of trust that comes from God. Yes, I tell you that whoever does not doubt in his heart, but trust that what he says will happen can say to this mountain, go and throw yourself into the sea and it will be done for you. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, trust. that you are receiving it and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him so that your father in heaven may also forgive your offenses. And remember this started when, if you start up a little bit further in twenty in the morning. As the followers or disciples passed by, they saw the fig tree withered all the way to its roots. Peter remembered and said to Yeshua, Rabbi, look, the fig tree that you cursed has dried up. He responded, have the kind of trust that comes from God. Basically, the kind of faith that comes from God. And when we look at first Peter two, when we go to first Peter two and we look at first Peter two and we're going to read it out of the complete Jewish Bible again. And we're going to first Peter two. We're going to talk about, again, healing, how we have access to healing, how healing is our portion, that healing is ours. We have to believe it. We have to receive it. Here we go. It's taken me a little bit to get to it. First Peter two, twenty one to twenty five. Indeed, this is what you were called to because the Messiah too suffered on your behalf, leaving an example so that you should follow in his steps. He committed no sin, nor was any deceit found on his lips. When he was insulted, he didn't retaliate with insults. When he suffered, he didn't threaten, but handed them over to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the stake." so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. By his wounds you were healed. For you used to be like sheep gone astray, but now you have turned to the shepherd who watches over you. So see that? By his wounds you were healed. Healing, it's past tense. You've already been healed by the work done on the cross. Sickness and all of that was under the curse of the law and cursed was anyone that hung on a tree on an execution stake. And that's what it says he. He himself bore our sins in his body on the stake. Jesus did the work for you. You just need to believe it and you need to receive it. And that's why you need to look at Galatians three because it talks about the superiority of the gospel. It talks about faith or observance of the law. It talks about faith or observance of the law. And it talks about the superiority of the gospels, of the gospel. And when you look here and you read starting in three, you foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes, Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you. Did you receive the spirit by observing the law or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing? If it is really for nothing, does God give you his spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law or because you believe what you heard? Consider Abraham. He believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. Understand then that those who believe are children of Abraham. The scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announce the gospel in advance to Abraham. All nations will be blessed through you. So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. And then when we look at Mark five, twenty one to thirty four. Let's look at Mark five, twenty one to thirty four. Mark five, let's go to there. And we're looking at again, twenty one to thirty four. Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore. Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jarius, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. My little daughter is dying, he said. Please come and lay your hands on her. Heal her so she can live. Jesus went with him and all the people followed, crowding around him. A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them. But she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus. So she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. For she thought to herself, if I can just touch his robe, I will be healed. Wow, what faith she had. She believed that if she just could touch the hem of his garment, she would be healed. And immediately the bleeding stopped and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him. And so he turned around in the crowd and asked, Who touched my robe? His disciples said to him, Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask who touched me? But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. And he said to her, Daughter, Your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over. Go in peace. Your suffering is over. And then while he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, your daughter is dead. There's no use troubling the teacher now. But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, don't be afraid. Just have faith. And that is what he is saying to you today. Don't be afraid. Just have faith. Don't be afraid. Just have faith. And that's what he is saying to you today. That is what he wants you to understand is healing is your portion. There's no need for you to be afraid. There is no need for you to be afraid. Perfect fear casts out all love. And we don't have fear. We have power, love, and a sound mind. So you can be healed. You can be set free. You can be delivered. And I want to read to you out of Isaiah. And I want to start out in Isaiah. Isaiah. The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve on Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated. They will renew ruined cities. that have been devastated for generations. Aliens will shepherd your flocks. Foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. And you will be called priests of the Lord. You will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations and in their riches you will boast. Instead of their shame, my people will receive a double portion. And instead of disgrace, they will rejoice in their inheritance. And so they will inherit a double portion in their land and everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and equity. In my faithfulness, I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are people the Lord has blessed." I delight greatly in the Lord. My soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels, for as the soil makes a sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the sovereign Lord will make righteous and praise spring upon all nations. nations upon all nations upon all nations. Repeat after me. If I am in Christ, healing is my portion. If I am in Christ, healing is my portion. Haven't you known, haven't you heard that the everlasting God Adonai, the creator of the ends of the earth does not grow tired or weary. His understanding cannot be fathomed. Isaiah forty twenty eight of the complete Jewish Bible. He invigorates the exhausted. He gives strength to the powerless. How many of you are exhausted? How many of you feel powerless during this season of darkness, during this darkness in the world that we live in? But he invigorates the exhausted. He gives strength to the powerless. Young men may grow tired and weary. Even the fittest may stumble and fall. And that is Isaiah forty, twenty nine to thirty of the complete Jewish Bible. But those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength. They will soar aloft as with eagle's wings. When they are running, they won't grow weary. When they are walking, they won't get tired. Isaiah forty thirty one. That is a promise that we have. But those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength. They will soar aloft as with eagle's wings. When they are running, they won't grow weary. When they are walking, they won't get tired. And then we look at Psalm forty six one. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Come is a divine invitation to discipleship and salvation. Once reconciled by Christ, healing is your portion. So now that you know that you're not under condemnation of the law, now that you know that you're not under the condemnation of the law, and you know that, and you understand that, then you can be reconciled to God, that you can be reconciled through the work done on cross, through the ministry of reconciliation. Jesus came to give us life. He came to set us free. Then Jesus said, come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear and the burden I give you is light. That's Matthew, eleven, twenty eight to thirty out of the NLT. Then Jesus said, come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. He's inviting you right now. He's inviting you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He's inviting you into the kingdom of God. And therefore sickness is not your portion. Once you believe on Christ, once you believe on the work done on the cross and you are reconciled, you are no longer separated. The veil has been torn. The truth is yours. The truth has been revealed. through the work done on the cross, through the work done on the cross. The truth has been revealed through the work done on the cross. And when you call on the name of Jesus, you can be healed. When you call on the name of Jesus, you can be set free. You only need to believe it and receive it. You only need to accept it. You only need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. and and and now is the time now is the hour he's saying believe in me trust in me walk with me yoke up with me today is the day you get set free today is a day that you you step out and into all god has for you but do you believe it and do you receive it and do you break free from the lies of the past do you break out of the mold that everybody tried to put you in It's a day to day that you soar. It's a day to day that you soar on eagle's wings. It's a day to day that you step into the fullness of all that God has for you. Because the first person to believe it has to be you. You have to believe it. You have to step into it. You have to walk in it. You have to call it forth. You have to call it forth by the power of Jesus, by the work done on the cross, by the work done on Calvary. You get to step into all God has for you. You get to have the fire of God come out through you and into others. Because healing is your portion. Healing is our portion. Healing is everybody's portion that believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because he died, we get to be set free. Because he paid the penalty for death. he went to the cross he went to the execution stake by his stripes ye were healed his past tense you need to believe it you need to receive it you need to know right now he's healing you where you are right now he sees you he sees you in your infirmary and healing is your portion and he's healing you right now by the power of the almighty god by the power of the almighty god healing is your portion healing is your portion Healing is your portion. Healing is your portion. Healing is your portion. Healing is your portion. And see this, then Jesus says, come to me. All of you are wearing heavy burdens and carry heavy burdens. And I will give you rest. It is in the moment of surrender. It is in that moment. It is in that moment of surrender. that we see the Lord Jesus working in and through us and out to others. It is in that moment of surrender to where we say, God, not my will, but yours be done. I don't want to put myself on the throne of my life anymore. I'm not going to be God of my own self. I'm going to purge myself of self. I'm going to trust in the one who did the work. I'm going to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for me, who shed his blood on Calvary. By his thirty-nine stripes, I'm healed. I'm going to put my trust in Jesus. I'm going to yoke up with Jesus. I'm going to yoke up with Jesus because for my yoke is easy to bear and a burden I give you is light. And the burden I give you is light. And if anyone does not know that Jesus... The Jesus that heals, that restores, that redeems and delivers, that gets Egypt out of us. I invite you to know that Jesus. I invite you to know that Jesus. Let us find him together. Let us find that Jesus. Let us walk in the healing with that Jesus. Let us walk with that Jesus. Let us yoke up with the truth of that Jesus. The Jesus that heals. The Jesus that restores. The Jesus that redeems. The Jesus that redeems. This Jesus that we know healing is your portion. Healing is my portion. We get to believe it. We get to receive it. We get to own it. Healing is our portion. We don't have to walk in the condemnation of the law any longer. That relational wound has been healed by the blood of Jesus. It has been healed. It has been nailed to the cross. You only need to believe it to receive it. You need to claim it. You need to own it. You need to walk in divine healing. You need to speak healing over yourself. You need to not speak curses over yourself. You need to not speak death over yourself. Don't speak premature death over yourself. The spirit of death is not our portion. The spirit of death I rebuke you. The spirit of death I rebuke you. The Lord Jesus rebukes you. Cancer the Lord Jesus rebukes you. It's under the blood of Jesus. But it all starts with you having the faith like the woman with the issue of blood. Having that faith that if I just touch the hem of his garment, I'm going to be set free. If I just reach out and touch the hem of his garment, I'm going to be set free. That's the kind of faith you got to have. That's the kind of faith you got to have this season because he wants you to wake up he wants you to realize the power and authority that you have as disciples of the lord jesus christ you get to lay hands on and heal you get to break the yoke of bondage off of god's people you get to bind you get to loose you get to bind you get to loose you get to bind you get to loose as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth we get to have healing now we get to walk in freedom now we don't have to have addiction we don't have to have shame and fear and guilt and self-loathing and imposter syndrome and self-sabotage we get to be set free it starts with forgiveness forgive yourself and forgive those that have hurt you forgive yourself and forgive those that have hurt you because you can't stand in any unforgiveness as we talked about earlier And Mark, you can't stand an unforgiveness and want the healing. You gotta let it go. You gotta let God, you gotta trust him to fight your battles. You gotta trust him to fight your battles. Healing is your portion. Healing is our portion. But do you receive it? Do you believe it? Do you believe on the son of God? Do you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? Because the only way to have healing the only way to truly get set free to be reconciled by to god after the fall of man and the fall in the garden the only way to be reconciled is to know jesus it's to believe on his death in his resurrection and his ascension it is to believe on the name of jesus put your faith your trust in jesus jesus will never leave you he will never fail you he will never forsake you jesus is with you right now by way of the holy spirit by way of his holy spirit the spirit of jesus that lives in us that works in and through us and out to others that we are all connected as a body of believers there is no separation in the spirit realm We are one with Christ. We are brothers and sisters. We are reconciled to God. We are reconciled to God. We are reconciled to God. You have been reconciled. You have been healed. You just need to believe it. You need to receive it and you need to walk in it and you need to claim it. Believe it. Receive it. Walk in it. Claim it. Believe it. Receive it. Walk in it. Claim it. You get to become all God has for you. All his purpose for you to be. But it first starts with you. Don't partner up with the lies that were spoken over you. Do not partner up with lies that were spoken over you. You Have a purpose. You were made for a purpose and you are going to go out and set many free through your testimony, your testimony of Jesus, your testimony of what he did for you. and how he healed you from every addiction, how he set you free. Don't be afraid to be bold in this season and step out in the authority that the Lord Jesus Christ has given you. He died so that we could have the power, that we could have the power to break yokes because we show them Jesus. We take his spirit where it needs to go. We are his church. We are his bride. We take him. We are his hands and feet. We take him where he needs to go. And when you believe on Jesus, like right now, I don't want you to see me. I want you to see Jesus is in me. When you believe on Jesus, then you are set free and you are healed by the blood of Jesus. And all he wants you to do is see him, to call on him and to be set free because he who the son sets free is free indeed. He who the son sets free is free indeed. And remember how we started. How did we start? We started by, let's go back. Let's go back and recap. I want to go back and recap. I want to go back and recap for some of you. I'm getting to go back. I'm getting to go back and show you from the very beginning the slides that healing is your portion. that healing is your portion and how many of you believe healing is your portion and we talked about the four types of divine healing in the bible they're the spiritual wounds the emotional wounds the relational wounds and the physical wounds but we want to make sure that you understand and pay close attention to that relational wound because it is the key to divine healing it is the key to divine healing and jesus died on the cross so we could be healed relationally with god reconciled to god i want you to see that i want you to believe that i want you to believe on the son every time a person comes to christ they are freed healed from the debt owed because of the sin of adam and eve in the garden the sin debt is nailed to the cross paid in full because of jesus's sacrifice he already did the work on the cross He already did the work on the cross. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone. The new is here. The old has gone. The new is here. The old has gone. The new is here. All this is from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. The old is gone. Hear that? The old is gone. The new is here. So get one foot out of the past. Get that foot out of the past. Get yourself fully planted in today. Get yourself fully planted in today. It takes two feet to be fully planted in today to step into all God has for you. You can't have one foot in the past and believe in the lies of the past when he died on the cross to set you free. free. You've been reconciled. You've been washed clean by the blood of Jesus. You are no longer under the condemnation of the law. All you got to do, you don't have to, works won't get you there. You can't earn it. You got to believe on Jesus, believe on his death and receive it through grace, through mercy, through grace, through grace, through grace, because he's merciful. He's merciful to us. Jesus came as the great physician to heal us all. because we are sinners and we're broken and we're battered and we were bruised, but by his blood, we're healed and set free. He wants you to believe it. He wants you to receive it. He wants you to believe it. He wants you to receive it. He wants you to believe it. He wants you to receive it. He wants you to understand that healing is your portion. Healing is your portion. And that is what he has for you today. Abba, Father, I pray for everyone listening. I pray, Father God, that they are healed from all that binds them, that they are set free, that he who the Son sets free is free indeed. I know that you see them, God. I know that you see them where they are. Help them to receive this healing. Help any blinders, any veils to be stripped away. Help them to have spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see all that you have for them. Help them to unyoke from the darkness, unyoke from sin. Unyoke from the things that no longer serve them or you this season, Father God. Help them to grow in you, Jesus, and grow and spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help them to spread the truth, the truth that by his stripes you were healed. It's past tense. You've already been healed. You just need to believe it to receive it. Satan, the Lord Jesus, rebukes you. Satan, the Lord Jesus, rebukes you. sickness is not my portion. Chronic fatigue is not my portion. Addiction is not my portion. Depression is not my portion. Today is the day that I've been set free. I have joy because I believe on the son. I believe on Jesus. And all I have to do is call on the name of Jesus and I will be set free. I will be set free. And it starts with you believing. and walking in it and understanding it. And that is what he has for you today. That is what he has for you today. We have power, love, and a sound mind because we have the mind of Christ. We have the heart of Christ. We have the spirit of Christ living in us the moment we believe. So today, if you don't know that Jesus, I invite you to know that Jesus. I invite you to know that Jesus. I invite you to say this prayer. Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross, that you were fully God, fully man, came to earth. that you came to earth fully God, fully man, that you were born to the Virgin Mary, that you came, that you came to earth, that you walked this earth and by your stripes, by the fact that you were crucified and died on the execution stake, that you died on a tree, that you died for me. I know you died. I know you rose again. And I know you're seated in heavenly places. And I know, I know, I know, I know that you're the son of God. I believe it in my heart. when you when you say it when you believe it in your heart say jesus i believe it now you're in my heart i believe it by faith i believe it by faith and right now with this prayer i've been saved i've been set free i repent of all my sins forgive me of all my sins wash me clean purify me help me to turn towards the light oh help me to turn i believe i've been forgiven i believe i've been forgiven with this prayer i'm a new creature And I'm entitled to this divine healing. I'm entitled to it because I am now a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. Earth is not my home. So I have access to divine healing now. I don't have to wait till I get to heaven. I don't have to die prematurely because I have access to divine healing now by the work done on the cross, because I believe you, Jesus. I believe you, Jesus, in the same way I believe you now. And I know I've been set free. I want your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, to come live inside of me and lead me. Holy Spirit, come into my heart. Come into me, invade my human spirit. Lead me, lead me. I want to be spirit led. I want to be spirit led and on fire for God. I want to be spirit led and on fire. I want to obey. I want to be obedient. I want to be led by the spirit of the almighty God. And with this prayer, Holy Spirit, I know you're in me. know you're in me and I'm not addicted anymore and I've been set free and I'm no longer depressed I'm healed and I no longer have insomnia I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight because I'm wrapped in the arms of my Savior in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and I believe it and I receive it and I walk in it and I fight the good fight of faith because I know now that you're in me I know that you're changing me right now I feel different It's broken off that heavy weight because right now I'm clothed with righteousness. I'm clothed with the garment of the Lord Jesus Christ and I wear Christ and I put off heaviness and I put off depression and I don't wear it anymore. I yoke up with joy. I'm a conqueror. I'm more than a conquering Christ Jesus. Today I have freedom. Today I've been set free. Today I walk free. Today I walk free and step out of bondage because today is the day that the Lord Jesus Christ came into my heart, His Holy Spirit, and I was set free. And I declare it and I walk boldly in it and I know now that I had the keys to the kingdom of heaven and divine healing is my portion. And divine healing is my portion. And I claim it and I own it and I receive it and I walk in it. Claim it, own it, receive it, walk in it. Claim it, own it, receive it, walk in it. Claim it, own it, receive it, walk in it. Claim it, own it, receive it, walk in it. And that's what he has for you today. That's what he has for you today. That's what he has for you today. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
