Good morning and welcome to our time that we have together as we share God's word in community recognizing we all have something to contribute. We all have something to contribute as we look out for our brothers and sisters. As we come together in unity and read and listen to God's word, as we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, revealing his word to us. What a powerful powerful thing that is for us as believers, as a royal priesthood, as a chosen generation. Do you know you're a chosen generation? I know you're a chosen generation. Let's see what God has in store for us today as we dive into his word. Let's open up the Bible. And today I'm actually going to be reading out of the Complete Jewish Bible. And we're looking at Ruth. Ruth 1. And I want to go down to Ruth 14. Again, they wept aloud. Then Orpha kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth stuck with her. She said, "Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her God. Go back after your sister-in-law." But Ruth said, notice this. Ruth spoke her world into reality. And just like God spoke the world into existence, we get to have what we say. Your words hold power. They hold power over your friends. We have to watch how we're speaking to others and speaking to oursel. Don't press me to leave you and stop following you. For wherever you go, I will go. And wherever you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God. Where you die, I'll die and there I'll be buried. May Adena bring terrible curses on me and worse ones as well. If anything but death separates you and me. Wow. Now let's go to Daniel 2 then. And we're going to go to Daniel 2 starting in 19. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision at night and Daniel blessed the God of heaven in these words. It means God spoke the word. Uh it means that that that Daniel spoke to God through his words. These are prayers. They're speaking it out. They're communicating with God. They're talking to God. And that's how we can talk to God today. Just like you and me are talking now, you can talk to God. Blessed be the name of God from eternity past to eternity future. For wisdom and power are his alone. He brings the changes of seasons and times. He installs and deposes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those with discernment. He reveals deep and secret things. He knows what lies in the darkness and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you God of my ancestors for giving me wisdom and power and revealing to me what we wanted from you for giving us the answer for the king. And God is our answer. And how do we get knowledge? We get it through prayer, through building our relationship with the Holy Spirit and walking in his promises as believers. And we say, "Jesus, oh Lord Jesus, I trust you. I surrender to you. Reveal to me through the word of God your wisdom. Give me discernment. Guide me this day as I go to school. Guide me this day as I talk to my friends. Guide me this day as I witness to other others. Guide me this day in how I talk to myself. and help me to believe that my identity is in you. That everything that I am is because of you. Because of the promises you spoke over me because the work you did on the cross because you've already done the work and healing is my portion and sickness is not. And I'm not to be depressed. And I'm not to be sad, but I'm down to hope and joy and walk in all that God's called me to be because he knew in me before he formed me in my mother's womb. And God is with me. God is with me. God is with me. And I thank you, Jesus, that you're with me when I get on the bus to go to school. And I thank you, Jesus, that you're with me when I'm in the lunchroom. And I thank you, Jesus, that you're with me every step of the way as I journey for you. and your angels encamp about me. I am never alone. I am never alone because Jesus is with me. He's in me. His Holy Spirit dwells inside of me. And it's through his strength. It's through the strength found in Isaiah 40:31 that I thrive and that I live, that I have my being, that I soar like a eagle. I run and not grow weary. I walk and not faint. I walk and not faint. I know you're with me and I thank you and I thank you for this mini teaching and I thank you for showing me that that that we're in a relationship that you're my father. You're my friend. You're my guide and all I need is you, Jesus. It's all I need. Jesus, I praise you. I worship you. Bring me joy and fresh oil for today's journey. Give me discernment. I know your angels are around me. Like it says in Psalm 91, I won't even dash my foot against a stone. I give you praise. I worship you. The God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of our precious Lord Jesus. I praise you. I worship you. Thank you, Jesus. And I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist. And this is what He has for you today. May His Light shine upon you. May He guide you this day and every day. And may you find peace in His presence.
Peace in his presence. Peace in his presence. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
