The Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God speak to Jesus's duality. A Lion (Warrior, King, Conqueror) and a Lamb (compassionate, humble, servant, sacrifice) as described in Revelation 5.

Jesus became the answer to our problem of sin. The Cross, and His blood shed, cleansed us and set us free (pardoned us) from the chains of bondage under the old covenant (laws).

Do you believe it and walk into any situation victorious? Do you realize the power, strength, and authority you have as a believer?

Let's discuss that and more on this episode of the Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast with Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist.

2026 is the year you get set free from the past! Believe it, walk in it, and become victorious in Christ Jesus.

About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about

Welcome to today's episode of the Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist, and your host. We know the host of this show is and that's Christ by way of his Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you and not me, see you and not me. May your truth resonate in their heart. And deliver them into all truth. As we dive into today's message. The duality of Jesus. The duality of Jesus. The lion of the tribe of Judah. And the lamb. The sacrificial lamb. That died on Calvary. so that we could have abundant life. A king, a victor, a warrior as the lion, but the lamb, a humble servant that gave his life for his sheep. That shows a compassionate, merciful Savior. One that's touched by our infirmities. He became a victim on the cross so that we could be victorious. Because he didn't stop there. as a victim. He rose up as a warrior. He conquered death and sin so that we could have abundant life. That's the Savior that I know. The Savior that set me free, realized I was a sinner. I fell short of the glory of the Lord on more than one occasion. But Christ forgave me of all that stuff, washed me clean with his blood shed on Calvary and set me free. He set me on a path of righteousness for his name's sake so I could show him off to a dark world, his light of truth, his mercy, his grace, his compassion because he runs the pardon office in heaven. He sits and advocates as a mediator between us and God. We have the ministry of reconciliation. He's our high priest touched by our infirmities. and sits and speaks on our behalf. When the accuser of the brethren comes, when Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy, we have our advocate, our great high priest who sits to the right of the Father and speaks words of truth on our behalf, grace and mercy. He became the mercy seat for us. There's no veil now separating us from God. That veil was torn by Jesus' work on the cross. And you can approach God And be in relationship with God. And seek his truth. You can be a friend of God. Like Abraham. You can be a friend of God. Draw close to God. And he'll draw close to you. Speak to him. As I speak to you now. Pour out your heart to him, recognizing that the Holy Spirit will help you. If you don't even have the right words, all you have to do is say, Holy Spirit, help me. I don't know how to pray for that person. I don't know how to pray for my situation. All I want is God's will. but I'm not certain as to what that looks like. Get me out of the way and help me to surrender to God's will. Pray in your prayer language. You'll have groanings and utterances. The Holy Spirit will help you and you will get out of that situation that you're in now, because you need the duality of Jesus. You need the king, the victor, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the one that's worthy to open the scroll that it talks about in Revelation. And you need the lamb, the one with mercy and grace to intercede on your behalf, to advocate on your behalf, to advocate on your behalf, recognizing that he gave his life, was beaten, battered and bruised, bore thirty nine stripes so that we could have freedom, freedom from the bondage of sin, freedom from sickness, disease, so that we could be victorious in Christ Jesus, recognizing that the kingdom of heaven is inside of us because the spirit of Christ lives in us as believers. That spirit is in us, working through us to do God's will. and to bring about the advancement of the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. And we have to understand that we walk in authority, but we also must humble ourselves and be servants, have mercy and grace in situations that we might want to be angry We might want to carry a fence. But we recognize we can't. Because we're supposed to be transformed into little Jesuses with the heart and mind of Christ. With his merciful, compassionate heart. A heart for his people, for his children. He's a good shepherd and he gave his life for his sheep. He's that lamb. And He knows our struggles. And no matter what situation you find yourself in, no matter how low you've sunk, He's there to pull you out of that pit. He's there so you can rise up victorious. Recognizing you can speak to any situation with your authority. In Christ Jesus. You can speak to that mountain. Mark eleven. Twenty two to twenty five. You can cast it into the sea. You can use your authority. But remember. Humble yourself. And show mercy where you need to show mercy and grace. Forgive them father. For they know not what they do. Many of you. have been victimized horribly. I want to apologize on their behalf. I want to say I'm sorry. You were a child and those things should never have happened to you. And you made choices based on survival. You made choices as a parent based on survival. And unhealed raw wounds from your own childhood trauma, and you bled over into your children and onto others. There's no judgment. There's just mercy and grace. And you can approach the throne and ask for forgiveness of all your sins and repent. And he will forgive you. And you get to turn and walk now in His ways, recognizing that you fell short and you hurt a lot of people, but that's water under the bridge now. Look at Paul and how many Christians he murdered before he had an encounter with Jesus. One touch, one moment in his presence changes everything. When you realize his revealed truth, his power, his loving embrace, when you realize he's there for you like he was for the woman at the well, the woman with the issue of blood, the man with the withered hand. He's there with you in your pit of despair. Call out to Him. He's waiting. And rise up victorious out of that situation. You speak to that mountain of addiction. And you say, go now in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, help me. Help me. Free me of this addiction. I want it gone out of my life and I trust that with this prayer, it's leaving my body now. I will no longer cope through that drug or that alcohol. Or that pack of cigarettes? Or all that food that I've been consuming? Maybe it's watching porn. Maybe you're a sex addict. Ask him to deliver you from it. Let go of all those things that no longer serve you as you enter into twenty twenty six. Decide to walk in freedom. Decide to walk in freedom. In his power. In his strength. That's what the line of the tribe of Judah signifies. It's strength. It's power. It's the almighty God. Fully God. Fully man. But also a lamb. A sweet, innocent lamb. Pure. Who knew no sin. but became sin for all of us so that we could live an abundant life with no separation between us and Father. Rise up, Esther's, Deborah's. Rise up, David's. Let go of things that no longer serve you. Recognize you missed it. Go seek help. You know where to go. You go to that meeting. You go get in that program and enroll yourself and know that this time it's going to be different. This time you're a conqueror. You're more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus because you're not doing it in your own strength. You're doing it in the strength of the lion of the tribe of Judah. You're doing it in the strength of Jesus by his Holy Spirit. This time will be different. This time will be different. Have the courage. Have courage. And go and prosper. Go and get help. Go and get help. I don't know who this message is for. I surely didn't plan to do it. But I merely obeyed. I merely obeyed. I want to read scripture to you and I want you to remember that Christ is the pardon that you need. You get to be pardoned from that death sentence of addiction. You just have to believe it and you just have to ask Lord Jesus, Take it from me. Holy Spirit, take it from me. That desire for that alcohol, that need for that drug, take it from me. I don't want it anymore. I want to walk in wholeness and purpose. And I want to be the father that I know I can be and the mother I know I can be. I want to be that person. I want to break that generational tie. Those generational curses of addictions. poverty and lack none of that's my portion healing is my portion under the new covenant that we have through christ jesus and his work on the cross so you step into your healing you step into the fullness of life and you one day will be that testimony that somebody else needs to get over that hump that dark place that mountain And rise up victorious as the lion of the tribe of Judah. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. And you'll sing a new song. And you'll sing a new song. I'm going to be reading out of the complete Jewish Bible. Revelation five I'm going to read Revelation five from one, I think to about ten. Next I saw in the right hand of the one sitting on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. But no one in heaven on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it. I cried and cried because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look inside it. One of the elders said to me, don't cry. Look, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David. has won the right to open the scroll and its seven seals. Then I saw standing there with the throne and the four living beings in the circle of the elders, a lamb that appeared to have been slaughtered. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the sevenfold spirit of God sent out onto all the earth, wisdom and power, strength and might. He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. When he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty four elders fell down in front of the lamb. Each one held a harp and gold bowls filled with pieces of incense, which are the prayers of God's people. And they sang a new song. And I'm going to put a new song in your mouth this year in twenty twenty six. It's a song of victory. It's a song of restoration. It's a song of redemption. That's your song in twenty twenty six. Glory to Jesus. You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals because you were slaughtered at the cost of blood. You ransom for God persons from every tribe, language, people and nation. You made them into a kingdom of God to rule. Kohanim or priest to serve him. And they will rule over the earth. And they will rule over the earth. You are a ruler. You have the authority. You get to speak to that mountain of addiction. You get to speak to that cancer diagnosis. You get to speak to to depression. You get to speak to poverty and lack, and you get to say no more. I am victorious in Christ Jesus. I am a daughter or a son of the most high King seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Earth is not my home. Heaven is, and it's in me and I have access to it right now. And I claim what's mine. claim what's mine. I claim what's mine. And I am victorious in Christ Jesus. And I will walk in abundant life in twenty twenty six. I will be victorious. I am victorious. I rise in twenty twenty six. I rise. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. And that's all he has for you this episode of the Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast as we discussed the duality of Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
