The rest of God. Today we do a mini teaching on the rest of God. The rest of God. And I'm Author and Evangelist Tammy Toney-Butler.

We're going to dive in today and I'm going to do a little teaching and I want you to further your knowledge by purchasing a Holy Spirit inspired creative work that he had me create. I don't understand it really, but it's important for you to be equipped during this season,

the season of darkness that's upon us. And as ambassadors of the kingdom of light, you need the proper tools to do battle. So scan the barcode. Because it's only about you seeing him. It's only about you hearing him. It's only about you being educated and taught by the master of all teachers by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So as we rest in him, as we enter into spiritual rest through obedience, we understand the pathway forward. how praying, interceding, and remaining at the center of God's will and in his relationship, that relationship with him is vital in this hour.

We must be united and stand seeking him and him alone, guided by him, recognizing The cross is the way forward.

We must look to the cross. We must look to the one who hung on the cross for guidance, for strength, provision, blessing,

relational trust built upon times of intimacy with the Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, with Aba Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus. Remember, he created us to walk in the cool of the garden. And walk you shall through the pages of this book. Through the intimacy, it directs you towards the restoration of the lost years stolen by the enemy. This is the year that you get it back. This is the year you receive all God has for you. This is the year you step out in your kingdom purpose and your kingdom identity, recognizing who you are and who's you are. And as I read to you today from Ephesians 6 out of the Complete Jewish Bible, I want it to resonate with you. I want it to hit your spirit and you be forever changed. Children, what you should do in union with the Lord is obey your parents for this is right. Honor your father and mother. This is the first commandment that embodies a promise so that it may go well with you and you may live long in the land. It speaks of relationship, a restored relationship, a relationship that goes back to the Garden of Eden and the fall of man. He wants us to come back in union, come back in restoration and come back and no longer be separated. We are to be one with God and walk with him in the cool of the garden. We are to experience his goodness, his love, his mercy, recognizing he is the father of it all, the creator of it all. Put first the kingdom of God, and all else shall be given unto you.

Fathers, don't irritate your children and make them resentful. Instead, raise them with the Lord's kind of discipline and guidance. Slaves, obey your human masters with the same fear, trembling, and single-heartedness with which you obey the Messiah. It's all about obedience. Don't obey just to win their favor. Serving only when they are watching you, but serve as slaves of the Messiah, doing with what God wants with all your heart. It's all about obedience. It's not about the assignment. It's not about the territory. It's about you being surrendered and obeying the commands of your commander and chief. You are a soldier and we are at war in a spiritual battle. And it's about being equipped with the armor of God and knowing whose you are and whom uh he's called you to be. work willingly as slaves as people do who are serving not merely human beings but the Lord. Remember that whoever does good work whether he be slave or free man will be rewarded by the Lord. And masters treat your slaves the same way. Don't threaten them. Remember that in heaven both you and they have the same master and he has no favorites. God has no favorites. We are equal. We are loved. We are treasured by our father. Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength. Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the adversary. For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. So take up every piece of war equipment God provides so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist and when the battle is won, you will be standing. Therefore, stand. had the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate, and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the good news of shalom, of peace. Always carry the shield of trust, faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. It's by faith that you overcome. It's by faith that you obey. It's by faith that you that you that you are restored. It is by faith that you are redeemed. It is by faith. Your faith in salvation. Your your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Your faith in the eternal being of God Almighty. Your faith in the Lord Jesus. Your faith your faith in what is not seen. It is about your faith and your ability to obey. Even though you can't see, even though you don't know where you're going, it is about faith. Having that obedient ear of faith like Abraham, it's about faith. And take the helmet of deliverance or some versions say the helmet of salvation. The helmet of deliverance along with the sword given by the spirit that is the word of God. And you as you pray at all times with all kinds of prayers and requests in the spirit vigilantly and persistently for all God's people basically never stop praying. Pray without ceasing. It is the way that you draw close to your commander and chief. It is the way of communication. It is the way that you get your orders, your assignment to carry out the day as soldiers of Christ where you long to do God's will. Nevertheless, let God's will be done, not yours. as you seek to walk in the path of obedience, as you seek to walk fully surrendered as a vessel of truth and light to a dark and dying world. And pray for me too that whenever I open my mouth, the words will be given to me in the to be bold in making known the secret of the good news for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may speak boldly the way I should. Pray that I may speak boldly the way I should. And that's the way we need to be praying. That's the way we need to be walking. Give us the ability, oh God, to speak your bold truth in rooms that need it to to to to not compromise in a world of compromise, to be the the the truth, to show them the light, to show them the love of Lord Jesus Christ, his humility, his servantthood, being willing to serve, being willing to surrender, willing to obey. Not my will but yours be done, oh God. So in this time of trusting, in this time of growing in faith, growing your faith muscle, in this time of deliverance through the word of God in the blood of Jesus shed on Calvary. I speak life over you. I speak blessings over you. I speak truth over you. And as you read this book, as you dive into his word, as you know his truth, and you will be forever set free, I decree it over you. Freedom and deliverance that only comes from the deliverer, the great physician, the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. May you see him and not me. May you obey him and not me. May you follow him and his leading and where he's taking you this season as you step out as trees of righteousness standing firm in a swaying world of compromise.
